Nice 'N Clean Baby Wipes with Aloe, Travel Pak, Unscented, Hypoallergenic, Pack/40 Wipes

Nice 'N Clean Baby Wipes with Aloe, Travel Pak, Unscented, Hypoallergenic, Pack/40 WipesNot bad for the price, but not if you need the quality of the major brands. They are a little thin and a little dry, but will do the job in a pinch.

I am a cloth diapering mama but went to Hawaii for a week and was concerned about cleaning diapers. So, I ordered some disposables and some wipes. My son is SUPER sensitive (his dermatologist says he's the most sensitive patient she has!) and I'm pretty critical. For being a sort of no-name brand, they were not bad. Fresh smelling even though unscented. Didn't aggravate his bottom. Thick. Pretty cloth like.

I'd buy more if I needed to!

LUVS FAMILY PACK SIZE 3 (16-28 POUNDS) DIAPERS 96 count

LUVS FAMILY PACK SIZE 3 DIAPERS 96 countI love Luvs. In my opinion, they are my favorite diaper brand out there and they are cheaper than Huggies or Pampers. They work just as well and they have a good smell to them. A little baby smell :)

We bought some Luvs diapers because they were cheaper than all the others and it was a huge mistake on our part. These diapers fall apart as the infant fills it up. So far about 65% of the diapers have come apart allowing the moisture absorbing gel to drop out all over the house after it has absorbed up some urine. And you can't just pick this stuff up off the carpets, you have to vacuum it up to get it all, and then you have to completely clean your vacuum with water and soap and maybe even bleach to get rid of the smell caused by the urine.

Don't buy cheap diapers unless you like cleaning up after they fall apart. We won't be buying any more Luvs diapers that's for sure.

Huggies Little Movers Diapers, Size 4, 100-Count

Huggies Little Movers Diapers, Size 4, 100-CountWe've been using huggies for the past year and really liked them, until the last 2 shipments. For some reason the diapers leak on the sides, as if the elastic was loose, but the diapers are on securely. We haven't changed the way we put on the diapers, and I noticed that the diapers we have now seem thinner and also the elastic is not as tight as ones from previous boxes we got. Will definitely be trying another brand after we finish this box.

switched from Pampers Cruiser due to their recent "upgrade." Was a little bit worry about the change first, but Huggies Little Movers have done well so far. The only slight difference I felt was the 'bunny ears' you use to secure the diaper around baby's waist seem shorter compared to Pampers, but still.. functional-wise, I have no problem w/ it.

I purchase these diapers for my daughter for her two little sons. Huggies is a good product, no leakage. It is so much easier purchasing over the internet instead of dealing with bulky items at the grocery or discount stores. Delivery service from Amazon is fantastic--the order is delivered within four days.

We have tried all of the major diaper brands and keep coming back to Pampers. I found that the Huggies brands don't fit as well, don't hold as much and leak more than Pampers. My son is very tall for his age and Huggies don't have as much stretch or as the side tabs that let me really get the diaper wrapped as well around his waist as Pampers do. They make them sound good, but we did try them again recently (I had a coupon and we were broke!) and I was disappointed. The front has one large panel which makes it difficult to wrap around my son's waist well. And they definitely don't hold as much as Pampers do, which is a problem at night. During the day I can change him frequently, but that means we're using more diapers so it costs more in the long run.

These diapers are very good. Only down side is that there are some defective in the box, that's why the three stars otherwise would have been 5.

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes with easy open top, 64 count packs (pack of 12) (768 wip

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes with easy open top, 64 count packsI used to buy Kirkland Signature (Costco) wipes and Huggies wipes. However, upon research from EWG's website, I decided to try the more natural and less toxic brands. So I bought Earth's Best, Seventh Generation, and Tushies, just to compare.

Size: Earth's Best is slightly larger than Seventh Generation and Tushies. If you like generous sizes, Earth's Best is the winner.

Thickness: Earth's Best is slightly thicker than Seventh Generation. Tushies is the thinnest. But none of the three brands is as thick as Huggies.

Texture: Tushies is subtly printed with ducks and stars. These prints increase friction so it is easier to remove dried poop that sticks to baby's bottom. Seventh Generation and Earth' Best do not have prints on them. They feel smoother on the skin. But on the other hand, they do not remove dried poop as effectively due to the lack of friction. More friction can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. One user commented that Tushies felt like sand paper. It was exaggerated. But Tushies does feel rougher on the skin. Between Seventh Generation and Earth' Best, Seventh Generation has more of a fabric feeling, while Earth' Best feels smoother.

Water Retention: inside the plastic bags that come with the wipes, Tushies wipes feel very moist. However, once I transported the wipes to the wipe warmer, they become dry. Their thin texture does not help the wipes to absorb/maintain water. Seventh Generation and Earth' Best are better at retaining moisture.

Breakability: it is very annoying to have wipes broken into pieces when you pull them out of the wipe warmer. Huggies and Tushies both break. Seventh Generation, Earth' Best, and Kirkland never do.

Overall, none of baby wipes I tried are perfect. They all have pros and cons. However, if I am going to choose one, I will go with Earth's Best for its size, texture, moistness and the fact that it does not break easily.

Note added 11/28/09: I've revised my 04/26/09 review with new information and changed my rating from five to four stars.

I ordered these wipes from Amazon in mid-2008, in early 2009, and in late 2009, but the wipes were different each time. See Customer Images.

In mid-2008, the front of the mostly-green package was beige and had "seventh GENERATION baby" on the "leaf" logo. The text on the front was in English only; the back was stamped "MADE IN UK." The ingredients were "Water, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived cleaning agent), Glycerin (vegetable oil derived), Citric Acid (provides stability and pH balance), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E acetate), Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate (food-grade preservatives)." The weight of the package was 1 pound (although it's possible that some moisture leaked out as the measurement was taken in early 2009). There were 80 wipes per package, each 6.8"x7.5".

In early 2009, the front of the mostly-green package was blue and gray, and had just "seventh GENERATION" on the "leaf" logo on the front. The text on the front was in English and French; the back was stamped "MADE IN USA." The ingredients were "Water, Polysorbate 20 (cleansing agent derived from sugar), Glycerin (soothes and cleanses skin, vegetable oil derived), Citric acid (provides stability & pH balance), Potassium sorbate (a natural preservative), Aloe Barbadensis Gel (helps heal skin), Tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E acetate, helps heal skin)." These ingredients were rated 2 (a "low" hazard) on a cosmetic safety database on the Web. The weight of the package was 1-1/4 pounds when received. There were 80 wipes per package, each 6.8"x7.5".

In late 2009, the packaging had changed completely, with an overall light lime color instead of green. The baby on the front was sitting in the grass looking at a stacking ring toy. The text was all in English; the side was stamped "MADE IN USA." The ingredients were "Aqua (water), glycerin (vegetable oil derived), citric acid (provides stability and pH balance), cetyl hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived cleaning agent), aloe barbadensis extract (aloe), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E acetate), sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate (food-grade preservatives). ... The wipe material used in this product is a blend of rayon (naturally derived) and polyester (PET)." The weight of the package was 1 pound when received. There were 70 wipes per package, each 6.8"x7".

Common to all three versions: (1) Although all the packages said "unscented," there was actually a slight odor perhaps from the citric acid and aloe. (2) We've used all of them without problems like diaper rash. (3) I don't agree with reviews such as "There is hardly any moisture now" suggesting that the water content has decreased over time. The current wipes feel just as moist as the previous ones. Although the package weight decreased between early 2009 and late 2009, the number of wipes and their size also declined, so that the weight per unit area remained about the same. I will say that the weight per unit area (.0048 ounces per square inch) is lower than for other brands of wipes (e.g., Kirkland from CostCo at .0057 ounces per sq in), suggesting a lower water content than other brands have.

However, comparing the three versions, I do have two major concerns: (1) THE INGREDIENTS KEEP CHANGING. Can't the manufacturer stick with one formula? (2) THE COST PER SQUARE INCH OF WIPE HAS INCREASED ABOUT 22%, from 0.086 cents in early 2009 to 0.105 cents in late 2009. The reason is that you pay the same price as before but the wipe size decreased and you get fewer wipes now.

For the reasons above, I changed my 4/26/09 rating from five stars to four now. Consider buying these wipes from Amazon.com!

My wife and I love these wipes. So imagine our dismay when the most recent shipment came in (we subscribe) with different packaging and less wipes. I wouldn't be upset except the price didn't change. So now we are getting 120 less wipes (nearly 2 packages less) for the same price. It ends up meaning 0.6 cent increase per wipe or a 15.7% increase in price. Since we order one case of pkgs per month this will turn into a $66 increase of the course of a year. I realize the economy is bad so companies are reducing production but the product price should decrease at least a little accordingly. Poor PR move by a what we have considered a great company. As far as distribution goes, since the original package at the original price is still being sold, I am annoyed with Amazon for changing which product we receive without any notification.

PS just noticed 7th gen also changed the size: per case (12 pkgs) it ends up being a bit under 9000 sq in reduction in the amount of product versus the original pkg. Which means we are getting 176 less wipes (more than 2 pkgs) per order or a 0.8 cent per wipe or 21.2% increase in price. That is a $92 increase per year. OUCH!

I used to love these wipes but the company has changed the ingredients and they now contain Polysorbate 20. I recommend Tushies unscented baby wipes.

I really dont get it.. I started using these wipes after buying the pack of 12 and my baby developed diaper rash. She rarely got diaper rash before, so I dont get why this wipe would give it to her. When I stopped using this wipe and used a different brand her rash went away.. Plus I dislike the smell these wipes have. Granted they claim to be unscented, but there is a strange smell to them. Now I am stuck with 900 wipes and I am out $35 bucks. I would recommend trying them out before buying a massive amount of them like I did.. BIG MISTAkE on my part.

Pampers Kandoo Flushable Toilet Wipes Sensitive Hypoallergenic 400 Wipes Refill Unscented

Pampers Kandoo Flushable Toilet Wipes Sensitive Hypoallergenic 400 Wipes Refill UnscentedWe will buy the Pampers Kandoo Wipes again because the moistening agents are indeed very gentle, and I don't doubt that they are hypoallergenic. I appreciate that the scent is just barely there. They do not tear in use as one brand did. However, here is some information worth sharing:

They are small. The manufacturer suggests that the wipes are approximately the size of two pieces of toilet paper. The actual size is 6.7" x 4.1", about an inch shorter than the two squares of toilet paper I just pulled off the roll. For us, small is good.

They dry out easily. This is not a problem for us-we just add water periodically.

They are not flushable. However, no "flushable" wipes are flushable. Really. The wonderful man who hauls our septic waste says it's a good thing we don't use many-he has seen some tanks that can't be pumped because of "flushable" wipes. Surely he meant "baby wipes" which are not flushable and don't claim to be. No-he meant "flushable" wipes. Every one of them we had flushed since his last visit was an identifiable 6.7 x 4.1 inch rectangle. (In fact, if you enter the words "flushable wipes, sewage systems" into a search engine you will discover that entire municipalities are struggling with the popularity of "flushable" wipes. Any paper-product that can hold its shape when wet is not flushable.)

Here's what we did: we bought the Janibell Privé, also on Amazon, and a case of the refill bags. It's an automatic sensor open/close, so you don't have to touch anything to throw away a used wipe. You don't have to see the contents of the bag because it's part of a tube you tie off before removing it. We've had ours for seven months and haven't yet noticed any "fragrance" escaping from the Privé, so we are quite pleased.

With those things in mind, this is the brand we will buy again.

it was so nice to find these. I need to re order more.

these are hard to find in my area.

the other sort of wipes make the bottoms itchy and sore in our home.

so have wasted so much $$$ on wipes.

I first discovered this bedding set on another website of a popular baby store. It was $120 for the 5-piece set there, and $100 on some other online sites. When I saw that there was an Amazon seller offering it for $49.99, I had to buy it! The seller shipped promptly, and the product was as promised! Colors are nice and vibrant, and are great for a gender-neutral nursery. I found the fabric is a teeny bit on the scratchy side, but I think that's to be expected with run-of-the-mill baby bedding. GREAT find for 1/2 the price anywhere else!

It gives an excellent explanation of why he painted certain pictures and why he used the color technique. I was frequently confused when other painters works were included. I was not interested in them or thier contributions.

Baby Boom Zebra Luv Nap Mat

Baby Boom Zebra Luv Nap MatBoth of my daughters use these blankets at the daycare daily. It gets washed once a week. The pillow material wears thin and looses fluff almost instantly, but is very easily restuffed with a higher grade stuffing and resewn. The rest of the blanket is very well made. Excellent product for the price. They love them!

Yes, this nap mat is just as cute as the picture. My 5 year old adores zebras and was delighted when this arrived in the mail. She loves nap time at school now! I wish it were a little bigger, but it's fine for her naps at school, and it has held up nicely. The pillow is easily removed for washing, and my daughter can fold it back up herself. It velcros up to a roll with a handle and even has a plastic window for a name card, which she especially loved!

The blanket is nice and soft and my daughter adores the mat for daycare. I have to agree with the other reviews that it's just not very fluffy so would need to be stuffed a bit more. If your daycare puts this on top of a padded mat then this is perfect. No complaints from my daughter as to the looks/feel. She is 21 months and will outgrow this in a year as it is not the longest of mats. She loves it though!

This is an adorable nap mat. The colors are vibrant, just like the picture. It rolls up easily and is very light to carry. The blanket portion is a soft fleece. Not super warm, but definitely warm enough for a mid-day snooze. It's plenty long enough for my 3 ft tall kiddo. The pillow inside is cheesy (like an airline pillow) but it works fine. The mat isn't super thick...like a very thin comforter. Overall we're really happy with this purchase. It will fit my daughter for quite awhile.

Our daughter absolutely loves this mat and loves using it at school. It's extremely compact which is great and it has a little slot for a name card.

Really the one thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that it's thinner than I thought it would be. This is part of it being compact, but I would have liked a little more padding and possibly a pillow that's a bit thicker. She uses it and loves it, but a little thicker on the padding, pillow, and blanket would have been great.
