incredibum One Size Bamboo Cloth Diaper

I bought this product because I read a review on it and was amazed how trim and easy to use the diaper was. The color I bought was Firecracker and it was a bold red (like fire engine red). The diaper fit perfectly on my 6 month old AND my 2 year old. At first the snaps kinda scared me but the first use it I realized they ARE needed. No wing droop. What I loved the most is it is a All in Two diaper and the insert is made of Bamboo. Probably one of the best diapers out there on the market it. Can't wait to buy more!

The diaper is great for all sizes of babies, never had any leaks in the few months I've used it, but I'm not in love with the snap inserts. They aren't very soft and all over felt rather cheap and rough on my babies skin. I also don't feel as though it wicked away enough moisture from my babies skin. But for an inexpensive cloth diaper, it isn't a bad investment, just not in my top 3 for favorites!

We recently started cloth diapering our first baby. I bought only incredibums and started using them when he was about 3 weeks old and about 10 pounds. I had a lot of trouble at first with the diapers repelling but that was due to my wash routine. Being new to this, apparently I was using too much detergent (Rockin Green) even though I was using less than recommended and the diapers developed a build up right away. I was very frustrated with the constant leaks and was about to give up but stripped them really well and now they are working great and I love them. I learned that less is definitely more when it comes to detergent. We've gone three hours between changes a few times with no leaks. I have not tried them at night yet but I think they will hold up well with both inserts. They really are quite trim-more so than I expected them to be. They are not much bulkier than a wet disposable and they are so cute. I did have one small issue in that two of our covers were missing one of the hip snaps but incredibum and the seller have worked to make up for that by offering to send us new covers. Excellent customer service. They also recently added a black diaper to their line-up so I'm excited to get one or two of those! (Also, on one cover, the snaps are a little harder to get a good tight connection and clicking sound but I'm still able to get it snapped and it does stay snapped fairly well with a little extra work). I use the incredibum cloth wipes as well which are wonderfully soft and large. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars and a happy new cloth diapering mom.

UPDATE: I took off a star (and almost took off two...) as we have been using these diapers for about three or four months now and we are having some issues with them. Some of the snaps are already deteriorating. We have three diapers in the "sunshine" color and for some reason on all three of those the snaps for the rise won't stay connected to keep it snapped down to a small or medium setting. On one of our "ocean" diapers, the snaps at the waist to hold the diaper on the baby won't stay connected anymore either, rendering it useless. In addition, a few of the covers are starting to get a little pilly and we are having more and more leaks, even with both inserts snapped in (I think it has to do with the fit more than the absorbancy level). Almost every day my son comes home from daycare in a different outfit than I sent him in due to leaks. Initially I was so excited about these diapers and by the price, especially considering the fact that I got them all during different sales, but now I am wishing I had tried other pricier brands that have been around longer before buying so many incredibum diapers. I was hoping to be able to use these diapers with a second baby someday, but I doubt they will last long enough for that given the way things are going. I do have to say that when I had the issue before with snaps missing on two covers, they sent new ones and when those got lost in the mail, they sent them again, and also sent a free roll of liners, so the customer service was good on that issue. (I have not contacted incredibum regarding the bad snaps, partly because I feel like I've already been a nag regarding the missing snap issue.) I really wish I could say that I still love these diapers...

We use incredibums and fuzzi bunz. I love this diaper! I like that the bamboo insert snaps in, and during naptime we snap in the second insert as well. No leaks, no rash. Easy to wash. Fits my 15 month old perfectly.

I bought this diaper and have to say this is one of my favorite diapers in my stash (totally knocks all the MAJOR brands out of the ballpark). It's very trim and fits my 16 month old so well and has tons of room to grow. The colors are vibrant and though at first when I saw the snaps I got nervous but it was super easy to use and understand why there were so many (cross over on BOTH sides!). We've used this diaper for day time and night time and never had an issue. I can't wait to buy more!!!

Real Nappies Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets

First, I bought three different brands of diaper liners, and I see no substantial difference among them. This one is a bit stiffer than he bummis at first, but once it's all sweaty/wet, it seems about the same. It does not stand up well to washing in my washing machine, but that's probably good if it claims to be flushable. It does stand up to hand-rinsing, so if you want to get extended use out of a wet one, I recommend rinsing it and hanging it up to dry.

Here's where it gets a bit graphic, so if you can't handle the poop talk... oh, nevermind. You're reading about diaper products! Clearly you can handle the poop talk!

My mom loves these, so I make sure to put one in my daughter's diaper before my mom comes to babysit. Mom claims that it makes things very neat and tidy, and makes it easy to dispose of the poop.

In my experience, it is true that the liner makes it easy to lift out a formed poop, but I find it easy enough to get formed poops off my diapers even without a liner. I basically just roll them off into the toilet using the diaper itself (formed poop sticks to itself better than to the diaper). It's not the formed poops I'm worried about: it's the soft or liquid poops. For soft or liquid poops, the liners don't offer much advantage. Sure you can lift SOME of the poop off the diaper, but I generally get messy hands doing so, and a lot of poop is left in the diaper despite the liner. It just oozes around the edges and up the front or up the back beyond the confines of the liner. I end up having to spray or wipe the diaper anyway, and at that point, it doesn't feel as though the liner saved me anything.

So there you have it. One brand seems much like the others to me, so you might as well buy the cheaper ones. My mom loves them and swears by them, and anything that keeps her happy about my choice to use cloth diapers is a good thing in my book, so I'll continue to buy them, but when it's just me dealing with the diapers, I don't use the liners at all because I don't think they make a huge difference.

I've used a few different brands of liner on my cloth diapers and these are by far the best! I love having the option of flushing, composting or throwing in the trash, and my husband appreciates that he doesn't have to deal with messy diapers anymore. All he has to do is take off the liner and throw in the toilet.

These are a definite must have for all cloth diapering parents!

I normally buy the Imse Vimse brand diaper liners, but saw that these are a little cheaper, so I thought I would try them out. They do work well. I thought I would try washing the pee diaper ones like I do with the Imse Vimse ones and see how they hold up. They do well in the washother than the fact that they shrink a little bit. Overall, a good product though. They are soft feeling, and I would probably buy them again.

I usually buy Kushies Kushies Flushable Biodgradable Diaper Liners but I wanted to try these because they were a little cheaper and had good reviews. Also, I like the softness much better for my baby's buttom. (it feels like silk to one's hand!) It is also much less sturdy than the Kushies ones and I like to try and whipe of as much off of my daughter's bottom with the cleaner part of the liner to not use so many wipes. I cannot do that with these as the poop goes right through them unto my hands it is not the case for the Kushies'. Also the Nappies are larger but not as long as the Kushies so it often means having to clean the top of the diaper if you have a "runner" poop or an older baby. They do wach really well but I don't think I will use them again. I'd rather pay a little more and not have to clean poop of diapers if I don't have too.

I think these are great. I love that they're biodegradable, and can be flushed or put in the trash. Another reviewer mentioned not being able to wipe baby's bottom with the liner, but I've never felt the need to do so. Also, they're not meant to be used with runny poos, although I suppose a surprise one could happen. However, with the right diaper fold, we've not had a problem with runny poos, and don't use a liner until its solid (shortly after staring solid food). I love the ease of using these, and they've functioned just as advertised when changing the diaper, simply lift off the liner, poo and all, and dispose, and the rest of the diaper almost always emerges unscathed, to be tossed into the diaper pail. Can't praise enough, the concept in general, and these in particular. I wouldn't be using cloth if I had to dip into the toilet to clean, or If i had to worry about spraying each one down. With these liners no worries! Also, as mentioned in another review, they can be tossed into the wash if they're not soiled, and reused. I've even reused them on the next diaper sometimes, if not particularly offensive. Wonderful idea, and wonderful product!

Pampers Cruisers Ultra Diapers

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've gotten to know more about diapers in the past five years than I thought I ever would. In the early days of our first child, I quickly learned that All Diapers Are Not Created Equal. Parents, you know what I'm talking about. When you're still in those early sleep-deprived days (otherwise known as the first six weeks or so) you're mostly using diapers that other people bought for you. If you asked for diapers at your baby shower, odds are you didn't specify a brand, so your first few weeks see a lot of trial and error.

Generally speaking, all diapers (at least in my experience) are just about as good at sucking up pee as each other. But you're not really worried about pee when you're putting on a diaper--sure, if it leaks, you've got a wet and therefore more squawky baby than usual, but pee's pretty easy to clean.

Poop, on the other hand...that's another story. Even once you've moved past the tarry meconium phase, poop is never your friend. And when it gets out of the diaper (what I, inspired by Star Trek: TNG, call a "hull breach"), the results are messy and catastrophic, at least if your plans for the day don't include parading your offspring around with feces smeared liberally on their clothes, and more likely than not yours as well. This is all a long way of saying that, while you don't remember the times the diaper contained a potential hull breach, you remember most of the failures--particularly if you imagine Jonathan "Commander Riker" Frakes shouting "Hull breach! Decks 4 to 7!" while red lights flash and consoles explode.

And, in my nearly half-decade with diapers, I've found Pampers Cruisers to be the most reliable diapers out there, particularly when it comes to containing hull breaches. That's not to say they totally eliminate the risk of one--after all, there's always operator error to consider, and the fact that, when you're changing your little one, they might thrash around so much that they expel the poop out of the diaper and all over themselves, the changing table, and you. But these diapers have, for us, been extremely reliable for a long time, and I expect we'll stick with them until our youngest one is toiler-trained.

So, yeah, these are good diapers.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program There comes a point when you have to switch to the next size up diapers or suffer leaks on the crib sheets every night. Kinda annoying since fewer and fewer diapers come with each successive sized diaper box, so you're paying the same for less. My system for leaky nights in the past has been to switch to the next size up diapers for the evenings and then to use nighttime diapers and if that fails, then to use the next size up in an overnight diaper. (Someone once suggested to me that for the worst leakers, you can even put a feminine pad into the diaper, but we haven't had to go that route so far, thank goodness.)

At any rate, I've found that with these diapers, I can put baby into the same size during the day and the Cruisers Ultra for nighttime and still end up with dry mornings. And that is all you really ask out of a diaper.

The result was controversial, drawing (IMO) much deserved criticisms for being more cheaply made and more prone to leaks. Cruisers Ultra is not a direct replacement of redesigned Cruisers in that it carries more premium price (about 15-20% more expensive) and is designed for extended period (such as nighttime sleep or extended outing).

Compared to regular Cruiser, the padding is considerably softer, about on par with Seventh Generation that we use from time to time. And where regular Cruiser and Seventh Generation failed, my 9-month old crawler has used it for 2 weeks and it has never leaked.

My only real criticism is that Cruisers Ultra does not replace Cruisers (and Extra Protection) outright, but instead offered as a premium product. As it stands, there are now 5 different Pampers diapers, Cruiser, Swaddler, Baby Dry, Extra Protection, and now Cruisers Ultra.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Through two children who are a decade apart in age I've been a Pampers fan. Why? They continue to innovate their already great products without changing them so dramatically there's an uncomfortable period of change.

I wish I wasn't writing this review, I want to be writing them for training pants instead! That said, when you have a highly active 3-year-old who needs serious leak protection you have to find a brand that doesn't just have high absorbancy, but moves with your kid. Which is the one thing I LOVE about the Cruisers. Unlike that other big name brand that has a supposed fit designed for movement, Pampers Cruisers gets that a walking toddler doesn't just sit. A high sided diaper might be a little more comfortable to move in, but every time I've tried the other brand we have a bad leak. Keeping in mind my little one's age, we did have a recent BM leak but mostly as the result of my youngster's ability to take off her own diaper which occasionally results in the sides getting loose.

The new Ultra is crazy absorbent. I feel guilty even admitting this but when my husband recently let me sleep in, our toddler was in that diaper for fourteen hours before getting changed! It was very full yet didn't leak at all. Ugh, I want to hide from this admission but for the sake of the review I want all you moms and dads and caregivers and grandparents to know the Cruiser Ultra can handle an astronomical amount of urine. It can definitely handle those nights when your worn out kid sleeps for 12 straight hours (wish those were every night don't we? lol) or the upcoming holiday shopping days when finding a place to change them might be difficult. No worries, Pampers has them protected.

I highly recommend Cruisers for mobile babies and toddlers and when friends and family have a new addition I always encourage them to try the Swaddlers for their newborns too! IMHO there's no better disposable brand out there for keeping them dry and leak-free.

I have twin 3-year old boys. One of them was having trouble making the connection between the need to go potty and the toilet itself. So, we decided to try potty patrol. We reiterated to him that as soon as the alarm went off--he needed to run into the bathroom and call for us to help and we would then sit him on the toilet and try and get him to finish going potty. This process of alarm going off---to bathroom---to toilet soon triggered a connection for him between going potty and the toilet. This system made potty training my 5th child a breeze. I have tried many other methods and this was the most straight forward and easy. As far as the size of the alarm, I dont know what the other reviewer was talking about, I called the company and they say the alarm size meets UL safety standards for children's items. Wow! I kept hearing how hard it was to potty train boys and after three girls I was ready for a long drawn out process. I heard about this product and it made total sense to me that my kid should make the connection between cause and effect. I mean even pavlovs dogs figured that out right? So anyway, I put the diaper and alarm on and followed the suggestion in the pamphlet to play alongside my son while we waited for the alarm to sound. It was actually quite a while; which proved he was ready because he could actually hold it for some time. After playing for a while in his room and then in the family room we eventually headed outside to the swing. I had almost forgotten about the alarm and was just talking to him when the alarm went off and caught us both off guard. I got excited, he got excited, and we rushed into the bathroom. I guess the alarm startled him enough to have him stop peeing because after we rushed him inside he actually finished peeing in the toilet. I could hardly believe it! I laughed, he laughed, we celebrated with a spongebob sticker on a little chart I downloaded and then we put on another diaper and went back to playing. It was fun. It took a normally painful process and turned it into a positive experience. I was so surprised that after 5 or 6 of the 24 diapers in the kit he basically had it. What? One day you say? Well I wouldn't believe it if it didn't happen to me. You know what they say online...YMMV (your mileage may vary) but that's what happened for us. It quickly taught him what success looked like and we went into some batman underwear he had picked out for himself. We still had a few mishaps over the next couple of weeks and he's in a pullup type diaper at night but we were basically there. I'm absolutely convinced we beat the average for potty training a boy by a long shot. Like the review just before me, I wish this product were on the market when I potty trained my three girls. I whole heartedly endorse this product and since its new I've even made it a gift to many friends that have loved it too. Hope this helps you in your families potty training adventures.
