Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail with 10 Count Refill Bags

Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail with 10 Count Refill BagsCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program So, when our first daughter was born we were given a Diaper Genie for a baby gift and told that it was going to be a lifesaver for us. It was a great addition to the nursery and it did save us from smells, but the whole loading and unloading was rather gross, especially when it came down to splitting that thing in half and taking out massive bags of dirty diapers. For me, the Munchkin Diaper Pail is a step above all things Diaper Genie, and while it could use a few convenient touches, I have to say that I am wholly impressed with this and recommend it heavily over the newer editions of the Diaper Genie itself.

Some have complained about the lack of a foot pedal, and while I do contest that a foot pedal would make loading dirty diapers into this thing a tad easier while in process of actually changing a diaper, I can't really complain about this lid because it is FAR more efficient for keeping out odors. One of the problem I had with both of our diaper genies (we got a new one with each child) was that over time the door just wouldn't close all the way and so the room always smelled like poop. Sorry, it just didn't work well. There was no latch and so the hinges got weak and eventually there was always a slight gap where the lid should have been sealed closed. Here, there is an actual latch and so the door closes shut and stays there. The fact that the bag locks in each diaper when you close the lid is a major bonus as well. I also have to say that removing the bag of dirty diapers is far easier with this pail than with the Diaper Genie. The side door is a wonderful asset and the fact that I don't have to stumble all over with a gigantic bag while folding my Diaper Genie in half all over the floor is a great thing in itself.

My only issue here is the height, which is a shame since if it were just a few inches taller it would be more practical. Especially when you are eliminating the floor pedal and requiring the user to use his hand to unlatch the door, it would be nice to not have to bend over so far. Still, it is a minor complaint for how great this product is.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This product pretty much does what it claims. When you close the lid, it doesn't just cap the pail, it pinches the bag shut too. It seals tight enough that somewhat stinky diapers do not stink up the whole room, it can mostly be operated one-handed, and it's pretty easy to load and remove the bag. We've found that about 10-12 size 3 diapers fit into a bag before it gets too full to use easily. (You can cram a few more in, but then it's hard to get the bag out of the plastic stand.) I'm not convinced that the baking soda helps, but it doesn't seem to do any harm.

What frustrates me about this is that there's no foot pedal. When i'm in the middle of a diaper change, i have two options: set the balled up used diaper aside, open the diaper pail, retrieve the used diaper and shove it in, and close the pail, or hold the balled up used diaper in my hand while trying to open the diaper pail, shove it in, and close it.

The latter is possible, but awkward. The former is just annoying. A foot pedal would not only save me time, it would mean i didn't have to touch quite so many things before washing my hands.

So, in terms of reducing diaper stink without having to take each and every dirty diaper out of the house as it's removed from the baby's backside, this is a winner. In terms of basic usability, well, it needs a foot pedal.

We have been using this for almost a month and I am so happy with product. No odors whatsoever. You wouldn't know there is a diaper pail sitting in the corner unless noticed. Also diaper bags hold good amount of diapers. Great buy. I would definitely recommend this product

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We actually bought this to use as a place to put our doggie poop bags and we keep it in the garage. It is FABULOUS as far as ease and in the sweltering heat of the summer...our garage remains odor free. It's a cinch to set up, easy to use, and if it keeps dog poop odor under control, I can imagine it would be excellent for baby poop!

I have two of these, for baby's room and bathroom. They seem to trap the smells better than my sister's Diaper Genie. I have no complaints. I have had one of them for over a year and no problems.

Huggies GoodNites Underwear, Girls

GoodNites Underwear, Girls, Small/Medium, 27 CountI have a 10 yr old who occasionally wets the bed at night & the regular pull up's dont hold the amount of urine these can. We have had only 2 leaks in a years time with using these. No rashes like other brands. They absorb well, & the odor is controlled. I only buy these goodnites & Underjams because THEY WORK

my teenage daughter is physically disabled and occasionally needs to wear these. She can do them herself.

My daughter is only 2 & 1/2 years old, but we were unhappy with other versions of overnight training pants, diapers and the like.

We tried Pampers underjams, which appear to be more cost effective, but for our little one didn't work out, she was still leaking.

We tried Pull-ups, but they leaked as well, Huggies overnights leaky, Luvs diapers, leaky.. and yes, we cut back on her liquid but that wasn't effective at all.

Huggies Goodnights with enough liquid will leak, they are made for older "bed wetting children" however it outdoes the rest for our child by a mile. While our daughter is only 2 and a half, she is able to fit in the small size fairly well, well enough that they slip on and off very easily and though there might be a gape because she is smaller than they intended I guess, it's in the back not in the stride where it would cause inevitable leaking.

Keep in mind that every child is different in shape and size, and their bed-wetting issues will vary, mine is still a toddler and expected to wet the bed at her age, and you might find a different result with every diaper or training pant you try, we did however try many and had poor results, Huggies Goodnights give her a fighting chance at staying dry overnight.

Hope that helps you with your purchasing decision.

Thanks for reading!

My daughter being a special needs child is incontinent. She was growing out of the size 6 nighttime diapers and we needed something bigger in size. After combing the internet and reading all the reviews about these diapers we thought we would give them a try (as they received great reviewed by parents of special needs and those without special needs. The first night was a success! Seeing she is totally dependent on diapers it was a very full diaper the next morning however her pajamas were dry and nothing leaked out. We were really impressed.

I would recommend this product for children still learning to potty train or for special needs children who aren't toilet trained. They work very well and we were impressed. Even though we receive assistance from insurance for diapers we will continue to purchase and use these as they are much better than the diapers we receive. These will certainly keep her dry and comfortable at night.

The designs are great for older children and these "underpants" can be hidden behind pajamas. We tried the boy's Goodnites and learned that the girl's version holds more liquid. I'm a fan!

Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes, Fragrance Free, 216ct

Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes, Fragrance-Free, Refill, 216-Count Pack. 648 total wipesThe description isn't entirely clear but you get three 216-ct packages for the price listed (so 648 wipes total). If you're able to take advantage of the super-saver shipping, you end up paying just a smidge over 3 cents per wipe, which is about what I was paying for some store-brand wipes...except I don't have to worry about needing to use 3 or 4 wimpy wipes to do the job of 1 or 2 Huggies wipes, nor do I need to leave the house to get these. :)

After 5 straight years of changing diapers, I still prefer the Huggies wipes above all others, so I'm glad I can find them at a decent price here at Amazon.

Notice that the Aloe and Vitamin E are the LAST ingredients, so the product contains a very small amount of the only natural things on the list!

Since I use 10-15 wipes a day, not sure I want to wipe my baby's bum with Parabens.

Although I tend to buy Pampers brand diapers for my 14-month old girl, I have always strongly preferred Huggies brand wipes because they are thick, strong, and not too wet. I have been buying these Natural Care Fragrance Free wipes since the beginning through amazon's subscribe and save feature, and this WAS a 5 star product. But, no longer. After receiving the latest shipment this week it is clear that the product has changed. The wipes are much thinner, to the point that they are not effective. We had to go through 5-6 wipes just for 1 diaper. I'm very disappointed and will be canceling my subscription. *Incidentally, amazon is listing the date of this review as July, 2009, which was when I started the subscription. However, the review is actually being posted August, 2010.*

We have been receiving these wipes for over a year through Subscribe and Save. Our entire family uses these wipes including my husband, myself, our three and a half year old daughter and our sixteen month old son. With this last shipment, the quality of the wipes have significantly changed. The wipes used to be thick and soft and cleaned very well. They are now much thinner and rougher with an almost sandpaper-like quality to them. I have to use twice as many to do the job. Within only a couple days of using them, our son developed an awful bleeding rash on his bottom and face from the wipes. Nothing else is different in his diet or the products we are using, besides these wipes. I will be canceling our subscription due to this change.

I love Huggies pure & natural diapers and use them exclusively for my daughter so, when all the wipes I received as gifts at my shower ran out I purchased these thinking I'd like them too... big mistake! Although the container is my favorite so far (the pop up feature actually works) my daughter got diaper rash within a few changes while using these. As soon as I stopped using them the rash started to subside, although it took over a week to clear completely. It broke my heart and I definitely cannot recommend these.
