Lansinoh Lansinoh Hpa Lanolin For Breastfeeding Mothers

Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers, 40 GramsI've tried probably 80% of the creams on the market for this problem. Us mothers have it rough. Here's my break down on this particular one.

Pros:

Doctor recommended

Soothes pain

Lasts a long time

Baby safe

Inexpensive

Cons:

Very thick

Stains clothes/bras/pads

The staining aspect can take away from the value of being inexpensive because some stains don't come out in the wash. I've taken to only using this before bed for that reasonI don't mind what my pajamas look like. In the morning or on the run I'm using nipple cream by Motherlove instead; Motherlove Nipple Cream + FREE Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free 8 oz.. It's thinner and works just as well. It absorbs a lot quicker though so much less stain or residue worries. It's a little more pricey but saving my clothes is worth the extra couple bucks. Plus, I've noticed it works great for my daughter's diaper rash. Items with multiple uses are a mother's best friend.

As a breastfeeding mother who has been using this product for the past 2.5 months, I definitely not only recommend it, but would say it's the best out there and a must for anyone breastfeeding or pumping. I would also recommend you take this to the hospital with you because your nipples will be dry right away (after 1-2 feedings!). This cream is pretty thick, comes in a small tube (kind of like hand cream) and if you warm it up in your hands a little bit will become a perfect consistency. It protects wonderfully and in comparison to Medela's isn't yellow, it's the color of vaseline (just thinner consistency). It stays well on the nipple and protects your nipples until the next feeding. I use it right after each feeding (and pumping) and wear breast pads in my bra because it will leave a small oily residue on your clothes (warning). I HIGHLY recommend this. I would also say buy it from walmart it's about the same price or Babys R US if Amazon's is backordered.

This is a must have for the pain and cracked nipples that can come along with breastfeeding. Its soothing and protective I recommend applying it prior to a shower to help with sensitivity. It can get a bit thick which can lead to difficulty squeezing it out; running the tube under warm water helps soften it.

This stuff is a life saver for sore nipples and makes me feel good that it's safe for my baby, but it does stain anything it comes in contact with. My bra's, shirt's, everything that it touched got stained so I eventually just started (per my pediatrician's recommendation), to use some express breast milk to rub on my nipples instead. Also, I only needed this product for the first couple weeks until my baby learned the proper latch and my breasts got used to the baby. One tube is more than enough.

I tried another expensive cream which i used for 2 days in the hospital. it left me cracked and dry. i switched to this once i got home and it's taken about 3 days to repair the damage from the previous cream, but this stuff is magic. i apply a light coating after every feeding...will be buying more for sure!!

Munchkin Arm & Hammer 2 Count Diaper Bag Dispenser and Bags

Munchkin Arm & Hammer 2 Count Diaper Bag Dispenser and BagsI liked everything about this product. It did what was advertised. It really reduces the smell of those stinky diapers.

Great for smelly diapers when you are away from home. Great product. Bags smell good too. The clip comes loose from the bag so I just put it in my bag.

I cannot explain how many times this has saved me from total embarrassment. think of all the times you are caught out there with a poopy diaper and just struggling to find something to put it in, searching through that huge diaper bag just looking for a spare plastic bag to stuff the diaper in. well this saves you from all that trouble just hook it to your bag and it is so cute and practical..

For the first 10 weeks of my daughter's life, I was staying with family, who did not have trash service.

Instead of rushing down to the local dump a few times a day, with a baby in hand, I decided to try these.

They are so great! They really reduce the smell of dirty diapers. Naturally, I still had to make frequent trips to the dump, but when I was unable to, these bags definitely helped me keep the odor down

I keep the dispenser clipped to the outside of my diaper bag, along with hand sanitizer. Just watch out though, the dispenser tends to slip off of the diaper bag handle.

I'd recommend this to any mothers or fathers who want a way to reduce the smell of dirty diapers, when they are unable to dispose of them properly.

Munchkin Super Premium Diapers

Munchkin Super Premium Diapers, Size 3/Medium Ultra, 96 CountOk I've edited my review which was previously a rave. I see where the reviewer who described having to pull out the tab twice is coming from, and I see where the reviewer describing how easily the tabs tear is coming from. There are essentially TWO versions of this Munchkin diapers. One with stiffer tabs (better version), and the other with super stretchy tabs (terrible quality). I've purchased size NB, 1, 4, and 5 and feel they're all mixed, not a clue if the different versions are size specific or old vs new batches. The NB, 1, and 4 had stiffer tabs while the size 5 purchased most recently has the super stretchy tabs very similar to Pampers and Luvs, they tear easily because of the way the diaper is manufactured, the seams are laminated after the diaper is folded so some pieces tend to have the perforation on the tabs so when you pull them to close the diaper they can tear. This version also have tabs which are folded in twice so there's an extra step to open the diaper vs other brand diaper. The stiffer tab versions don't have to be pulled out twice and don't have the perforated seam on the tabs. Obviously I prefer the latter. As for quality, I think the stretchy tab version is just a step up from Luvs. Both versions are equally absorbent and on par with Huggies (which I feel better are more absorbent than Pampers and Luvs). Both versions have elasticized backs to help contain waste within the diaper better.

As for the NB diapers, they have MESH lining, so if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Swaddlers, this is it!

I bought these diapers because I got a great deal 200 for $12.95 after the subscribe and save and my 10% coupon. They weren't completely awful, but they weren't fantastic either. They are kind of rough and don't conform to your baby's shape very well. We had a lot of leaks up the back and front, but that happens in all kinds of diapers. My biggest issue with them is that they didn't seem very comfortable for my baby. We now use pampers, although more expensive, and they are much softer and my baby's skin seems to be less irritated. Would I buy these again? If I was on a tight budget yes they do the job and are very cost effective. Give them a try and see if they work for you. If they don't at least you didn't spend a lot and you can give them as a baby gift in the future! (They come in 4 packs of 50 in the small size)

I had the Luvs size 3 diapers and they were leaking a lot so I wanted to try something different. I ordered the Pampers and wow, they are sleek but they seem to run a little too slim for my healthy baby. He's 22 lbs but is a little round so the trim fit was terrible for him. So while they were fine during the day, every night, he (and his crib) would be wet by 2am.

I saw the Munchkins and they had a good price so here I am. They are great. We are nearing the end of the 4th package and they rarely leak. We've only had a few accidents overnight, but those diapers were so full, nothing would have held them!

They are not as trim as the pampers and are little stiff but that just seems to work best for my little guy.

**Edit: My son is now in a size 4 and I have actually not used these for a few months since they were out of the size I needed at one time and I just hadn't come back to them until recently. I don't know if it's a newer diaper or what, but they have been terrible. They are much softer and the tabs are overly stretchy. I've also had more leaks which I wasn't having with the Huggies size 4 that I was using before. I'm so sad because I had given such a great review earlier but I promise, this new diaper is NOT the same one I used in size 3 last year! I'd like to give them 2.5 stars. They are okay but I feel like I have to change them much more often for fear of leaking. And in doing that, I've had a lot less leakage problems but I've gone thru the stash much faster than I normally do so the money savings is completely lost!

I am on a budget right now so had been using LUVS (cheapest.) The LUVS were so flimsy/leaky I decided to try these out, I'm so glad I did! They hold twice as much as the LUVS so I have no leaking at night. They are a snugger fit and just seem to be better made all around. I don't notice any "crunchiness" others have mentioned and the double pull tabs have not inconvenienced me at all. My son always got a rash when we used Huggies and I've not had that problem with these diapers. I still think Pampers are a bit superior than these but if you are watching your pennies than these are the next best thing, especially if you do Amazon Mom/Subscribe and Save.

These diapers are awful! They are so stiff that they rubbed the inside of our baby's legs and made sores overnight.

I've not read anything about them being stiff in earlier reviews, has no one else had this problem? Surely it's not just this one box that's bad.

Pampers Splashers Swim Pants Size 3-4 27 Pants

Pampers Splashers Swim Pants Size 3-4 27 PantsI have boy/girl 2 year old twins, so I'm really glad pampers finally has unisex swim diapers. I like these a lot and have been using them since their first swim. I don't dislike the huggies brand, but I like pampers and trust pampers. These swim diapers are durable, comfortable and attractive. Despite what others have said, we have had numerous poops in these swim diapers and have never had problems with leakage, except one time when we were done swimming, the diaper was thoroughly soaked, and I had not noticed for some time that my daughter had pooped; her poop liquified and ran down her leg. Truly not a big deL, and one accident on 2+ years isnt bad. We live at Lake Tahoe and swim daily at the beach or pool, and use the adjacent playground from mid-April to mid-October, so I think we are a good barometer for the quality if this product. I believe that perhaps the reason others have had problems is they might not be paying attention to sizing. My twins are 26 and 28 lbs, respectively, and we use the size that goes to 28 lbs without problems. Stay within your accurate size range and you, too, will be leak free.

Storksak Olivia Diaper Bag

Storksak Olivia Diaper Bag, GreyI've had this diaper bag for a year now... I looked all over for a great looking bag with a lot of room and this bag fits the bill. BUT, after a year of using it, I find it to be flimsy because it is nylon and it doesn't hold it's shape ...so things get lost in the bag and I always have to dig for things. I got sick of it and bought a Petunia Picklebottom bag. Also, the inside zippered pocket , which I only keep a few items in there and I have the pocket zipped up all the time and otherwise never use that pocket, has a tear in the seam! I know it was not because of wear and tear..... I took care of this bag so well, it might have been like that and I never knew until now. I contacted Storksak but they told me they are not set up for the kind of repair needed for my bag, and recommended me to go to a handbag repair shop. I don't know, I kind of expected more than that for bag that cost $200. Disappointed.

I love this bag. It fits everything I need for my 3 yr old and my new baby. Looks so stylish that I get compliments on it all the time. Fabric wipes clean. It's lightweight so I can really load it up with no prob.

Loving this bag! I debated purchasing it for a long time (the price!) and finally did the week before my baby was born. So glad I did. I have received numerous compliments and love that it looks like a regular large purse.

Let me start by saying I've only used this bag for 4 months. So far, I am very happy with it. My primary goal was to find something that was easy to wipe down/clean but still looked classy-this bag fits the bill! My husband likes it that it isn't totally girly-he can carry it (if he HAS to) with some dignity in tact. I like the little removable pouch on the inside too. It has plenty of pockets and holds quite a bit of stuff, I have used it as my carry-on with baby for two international flights.

I have been using Huggies for years and absolutely love them however, my last shippment had a new blue liner which ended up leaking onto my son's skin. It is a little bit concerning to have dye leaching onto my toddler's body. Needless to say, I just cancelled my Huggies diapers and started up with Pampers. Get rid of the blue liner Huggies!! The diapers were just fine they way they were!

purchased this around Christmas 2010, it's our 1st time buying huggies from Amazon, instead of Costco, and we noticed that the fasteners are the old kinds, not the new more rectangular looking ones that we got the month before from Costco. Surely enough, when we entered the Enjoy the Ride Code into Huggies website, all of the codes show EXPIRED. So I am guessing this shipment might have been the old stock from earlier time.

My baby is now 9 weeks and since he was 6 weeks, his diapers started leaking daily. I used the pampers swadlers Newborn for him and those were fine until both pee and poop found their way out of the diaper. I then started using Pampers Swadlers size 1 which were better but because his thighs are not that big, they also leaked at the sides. So out of frustration I got these. I have been using them for some days now and there has been not one leak. I thank GOD because cleabing all that poop off his back and pee of his body has not been fun! I am about to order the biggest size of these diapers that they have!

I've tried most of the diaper brands out there, and Pampers are definitely the best, and the most leak-proof. These night-time baby-dry ones especially. But they smell sooooo bad! They're heavily perfumed with baby powder smell which I hate. I'd rather be smelling my baby than this overpowering awful perfume.
