The little swimmers work just fine but this price is NOT a good price I found the diapers much cheaper at the store!

As a lifeguard and swim instructor who has worked at several public pools and works with people who have worked at many others, I have found a common theme of these being banned at almost all public pools because, when worn alone, they do not form an appropriate sanitary barrier. If worn with a plastic swim diaper with elastic around the legs they can work quite well. But when they are not they can lead to contamination of the water.

I had a difficult time finding swim diapers to fit my 9 month old, but these were great! They have enough elastic to keep whatever is inside the diaper inside without leaving horrible marks on my little girl. Also, they are easy for mommy to rip off to take the diaper off after my baby is finished swimmming.

My little niece of 18 months is kept quite dry while using these swimpants in her parents pool. My sister still cannot believe how dry (if she hasn't done anything) the swimpants keep her daughter. Great fit and quality. Highly recommend.

This product does as advertised. If you read the negative reviews its mostly people complaining that the swim diaper got wet. Well the purpose of the swim diaper is not to stay dry (does an adult bathing suit stay dry!?). They are just thinner than regular diapers and less absorbent so they don't blow up and soak up half the pool. The other function is that they keep the brown and yellow stuff IN, which these diapers also do quite well. They're pull up style so they make a nice seal around the legs and waist. Sizewise our guy wears regular diapers size 3 and the small of these fits perfectly. He's about 18lbs w chubby legs. This isn't rocket science, folks.
