Honestly, I love this product for many reasons:

* brilliant and simple idea

* much less expensive than other alarm systems I researched, most of which only worked for solving bed-wetting problems and not potty training

* high quality

* offers a gentle, positive method of potty training: we just sing the song, take the diaper off immediately and head for the potty

* customer service of the company is outstanding... I have 2 children with special needs using this product, and just like they do glasses and hearing aids, they are constantly taking off the radio and tossing it. Just a few weeks after we started using the diapers and were actually seeing some success (i.e. not all the urine would go in the diaper, they'd actually "stop" the flow and finish in the potty!"), both kids have hidden their radios somewhere in the house and they are nowhere to be found. I called the toll free number at Potty Patrol and they were kind enough to replace them free of charge--now that's what I call EXCELLENT customer service.

The only reason I wouldn't give this product 6 stars (LOL) is that when I purchased our first pack, even though the box clearly says diapers, for some reason, I was picturing a pull-up style diaper rather than the tab diapers. This was not the company's fault; it's just my oversight. We had been using pull-up style diapers for so long without success, but appreciated the ease of use that they afford for quick access to the potty and the the kids learning to pull them up and down independently... It's just a little less convenient to go back to the tab-style diapers that these are.

Anyway, we will continue using them, and are even using this system to write into our kids' special education IEPs to increase toileting independence at school.

Used as directed , used half of the package the first day , but by the second day my daughter (2 years 4 months ) realized that cannot hide or continue to play once wet , started asking to go to the bathroom the second day , by the end of the week does not miss anymore...( much less work and saving on diapers )

I wish the product was available in stores.

I thought this product would work, it seemed like a good concept. The problem with this product is that the alarm is REALLY quiet, I had turned off everything that made noise and I could barley hear it. If the alarm was louder this product would get 5 stars.

I decided to try this product after hearing about a friend's great success with it for her son. The first time I put the diaper on my 31 month old everything went well. When she peed, it played the song, and she was taken to the potty, etc. When my husband went to put on the next diaper he discovered the snap had come off and was still on the old diaper in the trash. He retrieved it and soldered it back on the musical device in the hope it was a fluke. After that we tried again. This time my daughter pulled the musical device off the diaper, and the opposite snap stayed on the diaper. We will resolder this side and try again, but I feel like we shouldn't have had to solder anything in the first place. The device should stay together and function for more than one use.
