Sprout Change Cloth Diaper Organic Starter Kit

Sprout Change Organic Starter KitI picked up the Sprout diaper for my 18-month-old son. We've used prefolds since birth and they were great until about 15 months old. Since then my son is zooming around and the prefolds are way too bulky. Plus, trying to lay him down for a diaper change at the park causes a big fuss every time. So we ordered three different diaper brands to give them a try. The Sprout diaper is perfect for us. We didn't have to adjust the elastic at all (my son is about 25 pounds and it fits him just right). We were impressed by how soft and absorbent the liner is, and how smooth the cover feels (no sticky PUL against his skin). Today was the real test a trip to the park. When he needed a change, we did the whole thing standing up. Just pull down his pants a bit, unsnap one side of the Sprout cover, switch out the insert, snap it back together and pull up his pants. He was off and running again in record time, with no whining. Hooray! I'm back at Amazon now to order a second set.

I like this diaper most but insert is kind of too wide for my son, used it since he was born. but no leakage probably because it's wide.

but this is so far the best cloth diaper system I like

I didn't like the cover even though you can adjust it to fit your baby. And my baby is 16lbs. The front part of the cover you can't keep from being lose. I even put it on the smallest setting and it was still loose in the front. However it was too tight in the back if they put elastic in the front it would be great. I wouldn't buy this product unless they put elastic in the front.

I was skeptical about cloth diapering. It seems like there are lot of options and parts, where do I start?? With a few of these! You take their insert put it in the reversible cover and that's it. You can reuse the cover all day (if its not yucky, obviously), and the changing is quick and easy. With many other diapers you use it once and change to another. You can also adjust for a baby up to 40 lbs. this is a great product and it comes in many great colors.

Very soft absorbent pad, great color on the blue/ green cover. A little confusing at firstI couldn't find the elastic band rocked away inside. Once I did, I found it a very clever design. Not bulky, either.

Huggies Overnites Diapers

Huggies Overnites Diapers, Size 5, 52 ctHuggies Overnites diapers used to be the BEST! Thick, incredibly absorbent. But, the diapers in the package I received earlier this week are entirely different cheaper in every way.

Yes, these are the "Winnie the Pooh" diapers others have been complaining about (though the "Pooh" printed Huggies Supreme daytime diapers I've received have been fine.) I should have listened to those reviews, it's just that my experience with Huggies had been very positive until now.

ARRGH! I work in manufacturing, and I know material costs have gone up substantially in recent months. The way Huggies has dealt with this, apparently, is by switching to a cheap, inferior product (as opposed to taking lower profits or raising prices.)

On the new version of the Overnight diapers:

-Much of the padding has been removed. In the crotch and rear of the diaper, there is substantially LESS padding than the existing, standard DAYTIME Huggies Supreme diapers have.

-The velcro patch is a lighter-weight, lower-quality material, and area on the front part of the diaper where you attach the velcro is much smaller. As a result, the new diapers don't attach as securely, and it's much easier for your baby's skin to be chafed by the rough edge of the velcro tab, as mosr of the protective material in front has been cut away.

-The "leak lock" area on the sides of the diaper through the crotch is thinner and less elastic than on the old style diapers, so the diaper doesn't fit as well and LEAKS.

I had the pleasure of changing the sheets EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK (between 1AM and 4AM)thanks to these new diapers. So frustrating! Each time, the diaper didn't even seem very full, it just leaked everywhere. Finally, last night I switched back to a daytime Huggies Supreme diaper...it was the first night all wee my son slept though the night, and we were both a lot happier in the morning!

Look, I want to buy top quality diapers. I can afford to buy top quality diapers. I also work full time and am single mom to a two-year-old, and my son and I both really need our sleep. I'd much rather pay for and actually receive premium night-time diapers, than have to change my son's pajamas and sheets in the middle of the night, night after night, because Huggies decided they could save some money buy trading their quality product for cheap crap.

If anyone knows of a brand that still makes top quality overnight diapers, please let me know!! I'll keep an eye on the reviews in the hope that they'll switch back to the older, quality version, but for the near future I am DONE with Huggies Overnites.

There are two types of kids out there. There's the kid that pees frequently, but in small quantities; and there's the kid that pees 42 1/2 gallons of liquid somewhere between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m., straight up in the air, soaking him from head to toe while getting the cat, too.

I have the latter type of kid.

We've been using Pampers Baby Dry since the little man was about 3 months old. When he was about 6 months old, he was consistently waking up soaked in the middle of the night. Since using the Overnights, he has not woken up with soaked pajamas since. This is one serious diaper. It's the Kevlar of disposables. It's stiff, thick and doesn't look all that comfortable. It's a long diaper and the tabs tighen about 2/3 of the way up his chest. The tabs are sturdy, and we have not had a ripped one. The quality of the diaper is far superior to the Baby Dry, but this is a much more expensive diaper. The elastic at the waist is loose on my little string bean, but still keeps the wetness in. This is probably a diaper that would also fit a stockier kid quite well.

This is not a diaper for day use. In fact, I need to get it off him first thing in the morning, because if I don't he'll get a bit of a diaper rash. I don't consider this a con because I'm looking for the nuclear sub of wetness protection. I don't think the diaper will move well with a toddler, but it's not the intended use. Complaining about daytime wear is like complaining that your snow tires don't perform well in the summer.

All in all, I can't imagine life without this product. If this diaper weren't available, we would have seriously had to consider putting the little man to bed in the bathtub.

After using this brand for over 6 months they now have Winnie the Pooh on them and Huggies must have changed the make-up because there are more night time leaks. And after 2-3 days of wearing them our son has the worst blistering diaper rash he has ever had! We were so happy with the product for so long...what happened??!! This is similar to what happened when we tried Pampers Drymax. We are not happy.

Our almost 3 yr old sleeps in our bed with us (UGH!) and I quickly found out what a PIA it is to change the king size sheets every time he leaked through the diaper, which was alot! He sleeps 12 hrs a night or longer. We tried the Pampers extra absorbancy, no luck there. We've been using these diapers for a long time and they are so much better than any other option. They contain the wetness from 12+ hours at least 85% of the time.

We have been using these for over a year on my son and until this last shipment, we only had one leak! So far, we are 3/3 on the new diapers, which is so disappointing. When I put them next to the old diaper (mickey design) the new ones (pooh bear) feel a lot thinner. Im not sure what changed, but please bring the old design back! Hopefully I can find a new overnight diaper that won't leak.

Pampers Sensitive Wipes 1X Fitment 64 Count (Pack of 8)

Pampers Sensitive Wipes 1X Fitment 64 CountI've tried all the wipes out there. My boys' butts prefer these and only these. I am militant that the daycare not use "community wipes" on my sons (2 1/2 & 16 months). We rarely have diaper rashes or any skin issues. I'm also a diaper snob and will only use Pampers Cruisers.

All wipes are moist (not just the bottom ones)....

Perfect thickness (don't rip like huggies, aren't too thin like store brands)... No smell just all around great!

I bought when it was a little less than $2 a pkg--great price since at the store they go on sale for $2 a pkg--they changed the price now it is too much to order in amazon! Go to local store!!!!!

These are our go to wipe now that Huggies has changed their wipe to the one and done (which is way too thick). The regular Pampers wipes are too floppy and thin, but these are just perfect.

The wipes themselves are good, but the way they are stacked makes it hard to just get one at a time. When I grab a wipe, it always pulls up at least one or two more. So I end up having to stuff them back in, which is annoying.

I'm a fan of Pampers and have been for a very long time (11 years of having kids). These are super convenient because the closure is a click instead of the flimsy, adhesive tabs found in other bulk packs. I have noticed that some of the bulk packs in the store don't even have the closure anymore so you have to put them in a tub or store them in a ziploc to keep them moist. These are great for travel and contain the same amount as the refill packs. I purchase them on Auto Ship.

Precious Moments Ceramic Nursery Lamp

Precious Moments Ceramic Nursery Lampthis is a very nice lamp. it looks nicer in person than in the picture. when i received it it was not damaged. i put in a lightbulb, plugged it in, and it worked perfectly fine. the only thing i didnt like is i thought it was going to be bigger than what it was. i thought it was a little small...its about the size of a desk lamp. but it was very nice, my wife loves it, and for a small product it lights up the room pretty good.

I really like the lamp. It looks great in the nursery, and it really does work for a boy or girl.

Pampers Splashers

Pampers Splashers Disposable Swim Pants Size 3-4, 24 CountThe Pampers Splashers Size 3-4 Disposable Swim Pants are pretty easy to put on and you just tear the sides to take them off. They are great for any trip to the pool or beach. The purpose of a swim diaper is to hold in solid waste without retaining much liquid. This means that if you leave your 1 year old in a swim diaper for too long, you will have pee all over. The point isn't to have the functionality of a normal diaper, the point is to keep fecal matter out of the pool. While a normal diaper will probably contain most 'insults' even during swimming, they almost instantly balloon to enormous girth as they become saturated with pool water. This makes them uncomfortable for the child and unpleasant to wear outside the pool as your child is going to be soaking wet.

With the Pampers Splashers, my daughter can go in and out of the pool over and over without any fuss or discomfort. If it's going to be a while out of the water, we switch to a normal diaper. At the price amazon sells these Splashers for, you don't have to worry about going through 2 or 3 Splashers for a trip to the beach or pool.

Make sure you wait to put the Splashers on until close to when you are entering the water, or at least don't give your kid much to drink in the meantime. They will hold some liquid, but not a good pee's worth.

The first time my daughter pooped in these they failed. It was our first time in our new wading pool and there was poop in the pool within 10 minutes. Thankfully it was our wading pool and not a public pool. My daughter is in the middle of the weight guidelines, so it doesn't seem like the size should have been an issue.

My son loves swimming year round and we turn down the hot tub so he can get in it with us during the winter months. the product doesn't leak as long as you have the right size.

I am not sure what this is supposed to do it got soaked with water rather quicker than I thought it would. It's no different at all from what a regular diaper would do in the pool. I don't know if it would hold poop in from the way that it got huge so quickly I am not sure that it would. Anyway, I guess it's at least easy to put on.

Pampers Natural Clean Wipes 12x Box with Tub

Pampers Natural Clean Wipes 12x Box with Tub 864 CountWe used to buy boxes of the Pampers Thickcare Unscented wipes. They did have a little scent but not too bad. I used them for so many things not just changing diapers. Amazon canceled the subscribe option though and suggested these. I can not believe they call them unscented. These smell really really strong and the stench doesn't dissipate any time soon. *gag* I kept wondering what this weird smell of perfume was in my room. It was just ONE of these wipes in the trash can. You could smell it several feet away. I have no idea what is supposed to be the difference between Thickcare and Softcare but what I really cared about was that they were at least mostly unscented according to whatever warped corporate standards allows for fragrance as an ingredient on unscented wipes. Instead I have a giant box of these stink bombs now. The scent ought to be labeled "Overpoweringly strong artificial baby diaper butt" rather than "unscented".

Edited to add: They also feel weird. They have a sensation that's a cross between oily and slimy. The wipe stretches strangely and leaves you feeling like you aren't wiping all that poop off well. They are VERY different from other Pampers wipes. My husband who does at least as much diaper changing as I do can't stand them either.

These are thin slimy wipes that do not come close to the quality of pampers thick care wipes. I would not consider them "unscented" and I will never buy them again.

While my purchase of these may seem a bit odd, since I don't have any baby in my home, nor do I expect to have any in the future. I purchased these since my cancer treatments make it extremely difficult take either showers or baths on a consistent basis. I found that "cat baths" with soap and water with a washcloth were less and less satisfactory.

After discussing the options with my Homecare RN, and finding that only unscented wipes should be used around my feeding tube and IV power port, I decided to give these a try. I've only had them long enough for a few "cleanings", but both my RN and I are impressed with the job they do.

Highly recommended for jobs outside of just diaper care.

I use 2x the wipes as I did when I used the Huggies brand. They are ok for a #1 diaper, but to clean up a #2, you may want to consider a box of rubber gloves to accompany your order.

I feel like I am doing an infomercial for a diaper wipe replacement product when using these wipes...

FYI this is a heavy box, but it has inexpensive wonders inside!

Absolutely fantastic price! And Amazon Mom/Subscribe & Save is wonderful because it saves me from going to Target every weekend for more wipes. We love the reusable box and bought a second one for pre-school so we can use the refill packs in both places. Out of 12 bags of wipes we've used 8 in 3 months so Pampers products are awesome! Great size for different types of messes, no urine or fecal bleed-through that you get with other brands of wipesscent is agreeable and helps the little one to smell cleaner when we've gone a few days between baths. Also good for 'wipe' baths especially when she was younger and just needed a quick clean and wasn't enthusiastic about being covered with water.

Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, Size 4, 126-Count

Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, Size 4, 126-CountI have used a lot of diapers between my son and my daughter. I have tried many different brands, and I just love Huggies. I have never had any problems, and I feel they are good quality. The only time my kids ever leaked is when we use generic diapers or the Pampers baby dry (Pampers Cruisers are great, too!). I have always found that elastic waisted diapers work better and fit better, especially with mobile babies!

Little tip I learned: In my experience, if you don't unfold the elastic around the thigh before you put them on, the diapers will leak. It's not enough to just open them up and slap them on. When I started fully opening the diapers before putting them on, I stopped having a problem with leaks. (Of course, when you have a morning diaper that weighs a few pounds, it will leak for a different reason!!)

Also, I've seen a few reviews from parents who have stated that the Huggies bought online are of lower quality than what they have purchased in the stores. In my experience, I have never had this problem purchasing from Amazon, and I have never found this to be true. The Huggies I purchase from Amazon appear to be the same great Huggies I've always bought from my local grocery store, and local Walmart , and they react the same as any other "store purchased" diapers, with the exception that they arrive on my doorstep.

I like Huggies. I also like that I have figured out how to use them. First, you must make sure to "open" the diapers before you start to change your baby. The elastic is folded into the diaper and a gentle tug of your finger will flatten it out. Second, you must make sure that the elastic is not bent inward when you put the diaper on your baby. Follow these two rules and you shouldn't get many leaks. (You may be able to tell that these rules are based upon experience.) Good luck.

I have four children and each one of required a different brand of diaper. First and second babies could wear ANY diaper so I bought the cheaper store brand from Sam's club. Baby #3 needed Luvs. He leaked out of Huggies, Pampers worked, but so did Luvs which were cheaper. With baby #4, Huggies is the only thing he DOESN'T leak out of. This baby wets his diaper all at once with a flood! Huggies is the only diaper than absorbs fast enough to catch it all. I think it's because the Huggies have more of the 'gel' in them to asborb the liquid this is also what makes them so nasty and squishy when wet. Pampers could probably hold the volume without leaking if he didn't deliver it so fast! If your baby is leaking out the diaper when the diaper isn't really wet, this is probably the issue. So my advice to new parents... get a few different brands (including the Snuggle brand from Sam's) and find which one works best. It varies a lot from baby to baby. Also I use Huggies overnights diapers at night when my son starts to leak at night. When he leaks out of the overnights at night, we move up to the next diaper size. Saves a bit of $ since there are more diapers per package in the smaller sizes.

I'm only giving these a 4, since I too have pulled the tabs off these diapers. Huggies needs to attach them better.

I always said that I would never waste money on name brand diapers. I have used everything from Wal-mart and Target, Luvs, Pampers, and even some from Big Lots (Little Tikes, I think, which are better than Wal-mart and Target.) Well, my husband got Huggies by accident once, which was a pretty expensive mistake, because that is all I buy now. I love the stretchy back because it makes them fit better. My daughter wears 1 size larger in Luvs than she does in Huggies. By the way, Pampers and Luvs are pretty much the EXACT same diapers, both made by Proctor and Gamble.

Huggies have always worked great for all three of my children. I Love that these get dropped off at my front door for the same price as I pay at Costco.

Pampers Extra Protection Diapers Size 4 (64 count)

Pampers Extra Protection Diapers Size 4 (64 count)I love this diapers! They give that extra protection so I can let my baby sleep through the night and not have to worry about waking up to a wet crib. They are extra absorbant and make it 12 hours easily now that baby sleeps through the night and they pull the wetness away from her bottom so she doesn't get a diaper rash and doesn't feel uncomfortable.

Guess we'll never find one that stops leaks at night completely, but these are very soft and do hold A LOT! I think our problem has more to do with my daughter being a tummy-sleeper. She always leaks at the top of her diaper, and I assume (now that we've tried everything under the sun) her sleeping position makes it hard for the most absorbant part of the diaper to work since it is more towards the back. Overall, a very good diaper, though.

Buy Pampers Extra Protection Diapers Size 4 (64 count) Now

I bought these thinking my son wouldn't leak at night but once a week he would wake up soaked in pee. Maybe he drinks too much at night but I figure the extra protection meant that these were going to hold more. I even moved him up to a 5 and they still leak about once a week. In comparison to the Papers Cruisers, they do the same. I personally would not these again.

Read Best Reviews of Pampers Extra Protection Diapers Size 4 (64 count) Here

The pampers extra protection diapers are AWFUL! I found my son in the morning with his fleece footed zip PJs FULL of the micro-bead absorbent material that had spilled out of the diaper. He was covered in 3-4 cups of urine soaked micro-beads from the diaper that essentially disintegrated and dumped its contents. Aside from being completely disgusting and uncomfortable for my 2 y/o child, this is a choking hazard for young children.

DO NOT BUY THESE DIAPERS. I have used another brand of overnight diapers (Huggies) for about a year that NEVER did anything like the aforementioned scenario. The only reason I tried the pampers extra protection was a supply issue of the other diapers on amazon. I will throw them away before I will put them on my child again.

I would give negative stars, but this wasn't an option.
