With the Pampers Splashers, my daughter can go in and out of the pool over and over without any fuss or discomfort. If it's going to be a while out of the water, we switch to a normal diaper. At the price amazon sells these Splashers for, you don't have to worry about going through 2 or 3 Splashers for a trip to the beach or pool.
Make sure you wait to put the Splashers on until close to when you are entering the water, or at least don't give your kid much to drink in the meantime. They will hold some liquid, but not a good pee's worth. The first time my daughter pooped in these they failed. It was our first time in our new wading pool and there was poop in the pool within 10 minutes. Thankfully it was our wading pool and not a public pool. My daughter is in the middle of the weight guidelines, so it doesn't seem like the size should have been an issue. These swim diapers were on sale and so I got them for a great price. They seem to work just as well as the Huggies Little Swimmers I've used in the past.My son loves swimming year round and we turn down the hot tub so he can get in it with us during the winter months. the product doesn't leak as long as you have the right size.I am not sure what this is supposed to do it got soaked with water rather quicker than I thought it would. It's no different at all from what a regular diaper would do in the pool. I don't know if it would hold poop in from the way that it got huge so quickly I am not sure that it would. Anyway, I guess it's at least easy to put on.
