Huggies Little Movers Diapers, Size 4, 100-Count

Huggies Little Movers Diapers, Size 4, 100-CountWe've been using huggies for the past year and really liked them, until the last 2 shipments. For some reason the diapers leak on the sides, as if the elastic was loose, but the diapers are on securely. We haven't changed the way we put on the diapers, and I noticed that the diapers we have now seem thinner and also the elastic is not as tight as ones from previous boxes we got. Will definitely be trying another brand after we finish this box.

switched from Pampers Cruiser due to their recent "upgrade." Was a little bit worry about the change first, but Huggies Little Movers have done well so far. The only slight difference I felt was the 'bunny ears' you use to secure the diaper around baby's waist seem shorter compared to Pampers, but still.. functional-wise, I have no problem w/ it.

I purchase these diapers for my daughter for her two little sons. Huggies is a good product, no leakage. It is so much easier purchasing over the internet instead of dealing with bulky items at the grocery or discount stores. Delivery service from Amazon is fantastic--the order is delivered within four days.

We have tried all of the major diaper brands and keep coming back to Pampers. I found that the Huggies brands don't fit as well, don't hold as much and leak more than Pampers. My son is very tall for his age and Huggies don't have as much stretch or as the side tabs that let me really get the diaper wrapped as well around his waist as Pampers do. They make them sound good, but we did try them again recently (I had a coupon and we were broke!) and I was disappointed. The front has one large panel which makes it difficult to wrap around my son's waist well. And they definitely don't hold as much as Pampers do, which is a problem at night. During the day I can change him frequently, but that means we're using more diapers so it costs more in the long run.

These diapers are very good. Only down side is that there are some defective in the box, that's why the three stars otherwise would have been 5.

  • Flexes for a snug and comfortable fit

Good value, cant find a cheaper price and the quality, well what do I need to say anything about pampers. They are true to size. Would not put anything else on my babies.

timi & leslie Dual Bag

timi & leslie Dual Bag, MackenzieI really wanted to love this bag. The fabric is great. Not too stiff and not like the cheap plastic-like material some diaper bags are made out of. The size seemed great at first. (When I showed my husband, he thought it was a laptop bag btw.) I was planning on using one side of the bag for my infant sons things and the other side for my things. I filled the front half with baby items (four diapers, travel wipes, change of clothes, burp cloth, and a small toy) and it was full but I was able to zip it closed. Then I attempted to put my wallet, small makeup bag, and check book into the back half of the bag. I could not fit them! The first side of the bag was full (and did not even have that much in it) and was pushing into the side that was not full taking up the space. It seemed like the middle part separating the two sides took up a lot of space and the two "large" pockets weren't really that large. Also, the interior lining is black and it was impossible to find things in the bag with out taking everything out. I found myself scooping with my hands to find smaller items in the bottom of the bag. I returned this bag. I am much happier with the Bumble Collection Ashley bag.

I love the design on the bag; it's what first caught my eye. I read the reviews, and overall it had a good rating. It was a little small inside, for I tend to overpack, but I didn't mind. What did have me disappointed was that within 4 months, the lining of one of the zippered compartments had completely ripped, leaving me w/ an extra "pocket" and strings that would catch on the zipper. For something that is so expensive at full retail, I thought the quality would have been much better.

Although this is a diaper bag, I purchased it as a carry on bag for a trip. It has A LOT of pockets for great storage. I love the pattern. I'm sure it would be a great diaper bag as it also comes with stroller straps and changing mat.

I've only used this bag for 10 weeks.. At first I LOVED everything about it.. but in the last few days one side on the inner part of the diaper bag has completely ripped open and yesterday the zipper broke off! With as much as I paid for this bag.. I was expecting it to be a lot better quality.

Pampers Swaddlers Jumbo Pack Preemie Diapers 31ct.

Pampers Swaddlers Jumbo Pack Preemie Diapers 31ct.My daughter had twins in January and she was having a hard time finding preemie diapers. These diapers are great and when I ordered them through Amazon, my daughter had them within a few days.

Suddenly, on September 17, 2011, our little boy unexpectedly was born at 27 weeks--all 1 lb 14 oz of him. He was so tiny, the NICU premie diapers swam on him. We were worried. How do we care for such a tiny and vulnerable human being? He was in the NICU for two-and-a-half months before we took him home the day before Thanksgiving. His first full day home was Thanksgiving Day. Wow... It's the most memorable and happy Thanksgiving of our lives!

Before we got him home, we purchased from Amazon the same diapers the NICU uses for these babies. First we signed up for Amazon's Subscribe and Save program, which we highly recommend you do also, and then we purchased the premie size Swaddlers diapers. They were perfect! Some friends of ours were using cloth diapers and we debated using them too, but looking at Amazon's price on these diapers and seeing how simple it is to care for a baby's changing needs using disposables, it was a no brainer. These diapers cost us about $25 to $30 a month. Amazon's subscription program is really the right way to go.

Our baby is now 20 months old and has graduated to Pampers Baby Dry size 4. If we have another child, we're definitely, without question, using Swaddlers. They are an excellent diaper and helped keep our precious little one sanitary and clean during the first year of his life.

One other tip: make sure to collect the rewards points on every pack of Pampers diapers and wipes. You can redeem them for things on Pampers' website.

Playtex Diaper Genie Refill (810 count total - 3 pack of 270 each)

Playtex Diaper Genie RefillMy husband and I have one year old twins and got a Diaper Genie for our baby shower and we continued to buy the expensive refils until one day in the store, another mother told us that 13 gallon trash bags work just well if not better! Just keep one of the empty rings and wrap the top of a trash bag around it and push the bottom of the bag through the Genie!! Tah-dah!! No more expensive refils!!!

I have a newborn and just finished my second refill. She is 6 weeks old. I know how many diapers I've been through because I've tossed almost all of her diapers at home (still don't get out much). I'm just starting a 5th case of 88 newborn diapers. That means I've gone through 4 cases of 88 each = 352 diapers. 352 diapers in 42 days = 8-9 diapers a day (that sounds about right).

Anyway, my point with the above calculation is that I got about 175 diapers in each refill. Not at all 270. Maybe they packed them airtight but through normal use, I think it's far less than 270. And of course, once she gets into larger size diapers, it will be even fewer.

So what does this mean? Based on current pricing, it means I'm paying another 3.5 cents PER DIAPER for my diaper genie. And that's newborn size. If you are someone sitting there calculating your per-diaper costs, you may not think much about what it costs you to toss it.

Then again, even at 3.5 cents per diaper, you're still talking about maybe 30 cents a day. That's worth it to me. I like my diaper genie a lot and I do find these refills convenient.

But if you tend to look for ways to get that 19 cent diaper instead of 22 cents or whatever, this adds a lot (relatively) to the cost. Might want to try the regular trash bag trick that another reviewer mentioned.

Playtex no longer makes the Diaper Genie II or the Diaper Genie II Elite, therefore they no longer make the refills. They claim these Diaper Genie "Essentials" refills are compatible and yes, the cartridge does fit inside the Diaper Genie II Elite pail. This is, however, where the compatibility stops. The "new" refills are perhaps make of a thicker plastic than the Diaper Genie II Elite refills, which may sound wonderful when you think about odor protection. BUT!! The clamp inside the Diaper Genie II DOES NOT CLOSE all the way with the Diaper Genie "Essentials" refills so there ends up being a faint odor in the room!! Don't be fooled if you are in search of Diaper Genie II or Diaper Genie II Elite refills, this isn't them!

These were a perfect fit for our diaper genie Elite. I don't know what people are talking about that these aren't the same thing because they look exactly the same as the ones that originally came with our diaper genie from Babies R' Us. We had no problems with them fitting and they are far cheaper to purchase on Amazon than they are in our local stores. I will definitely buy them again. Just make sure your buying them for the right Diaper Genie specified and you should have no problems.

EXTRA $$$$ Saving HELPFUL TIP: To get the most use out of these I don't use the cutter mechanism on the diaper genie because I was noticing that it wasted too much of the refill. Instead I keep a pair of scissors nearby and cut it when the bag needs changing. These really extends the life of my refills. I am getting a good 3-4 weeks or more out of each refill by doing this.

Yes I do purchase this item and love using it. I do wish it was less expensive and no matter where I shop it is never on sale. This company knows you need it and until a competitor does the job as well as Diaper Genie they have no reason to bring down the price. I finally got smart and only use the Genie for poop diapers. The rest go in the regular trash can.
