Nuby 2 Handle Flip n' Sip Straw Cup, 8 Ounce, 12 Months +

Nuby 2 Handle Flip n' Sip Straw Cup, 8 Ounce, 12 Months +, Colors May Varyi love nuby straw cups, both this one and the non-handled one. however there are a lot of areas to clean on this one, including the straw pieces. i use my dr. brown bottle pipe cleaner thing to slide inside the straws when cleaning. submerging the cup and lid into hot water will loosen particles of food that get trapped.

my one concern, when your child is teething. teething children gnaw on everything, and the handles & lid are NOT BPA free. my child started to chew on the handles and actually bit one of the rubber nubs off [i luckily got it before he swallowed it]. i have since put the handle cups away for after the "everything goes in my mouth" phase.

as for the drinking aspect of the cup, it isn't difficult to use. i started using these around 9 months and he had no problem. the straw uses compression to allow the liquid to come out, it also prevents it from spilling when not being used.

when reassembling, make sure you put the clear straw into the lid first, pull it until you hear a slight pop, and make sure it is over the hole. then push the white hard straw into the clear straw. it won't leak if you do it correctly.

overall, these cups are great if you are tired of helping your child lift up the sippy cup. the cleaning of them is just part of enjoying a product that let's your child drink independently. and cleaning them doesn't really take any more time than other cups i've tried.

I was really attracted by the design of this cup. I was looking for something my son wouldn't have to tip up to drink from since he is just starting out, and can't get his bottle up in the air. It's a nice size, and the handles are perfect, he took to it right away. The problem is that he wasn't really able to drink out of it. He got a little bit, but became really frustrated. After washing it, I tried it out myself, and it really isn't easy to use!! It relies on using your lips to squeeze the straw and then sucking to get the water out. No wonder he got frustrated! I am going to keep it around, and keep trying here and there to see if he gets it, but I wish it was a little easier for him to use.

Love these cups!

Positives:

-hold up well in the dishwasher

-Practically unbreakable

-Good for teethers!

-Doesn't spill and great for sticking in a bag

Negatives:

-If your child is drinking out of it and there is still juice/water in the straw and you close up the cup BE WARNED, when you open it back up you will get sprayed. It has been a source of entertainment for my son in the backseat of the car :)

These are the only cups I could ever get my boys to use. They started using these straw cups when they were six months old. They are bf'd babies and could never get the hang of a sippy cup. My sister gave us a couple of these cups as hand me downs, so I tried them one day thinking they'd probably not be able to figure them out...but they did with no problem! We have these and the larger size without handles. I agree with some of the reviews that when the cups are brand new, they are a little more diffuclt to get water out of, but my boys never had a problem. The straws are nice and big, much larger than other straw cups, so they can actually get more than a little trickle of water out of them. There are a lot of pieces to clean, we usually take the cups apart and soak them in a warm, soapy water. We then use a little brush to get inside the straw and parts of the lid, but the cleaning hassle is definately worth the functionality of the cup!

These are great cups that lasted us a long time. If you have a kiddo that chews on straws though watch out because the plastic does breakdown easy and can be a hazard. We bought several of these cups and then always had one available. I used them for about 21/2 years until we moved on to larger water bottles.

Pampers Kandoo Brightfoam Hand Soap, Magic Melon Scent, 8.4 Fluid Ounce

Pampers Kandoo Brightfoam Hand Soap, Magic Melon Scent, 8.4 Fluid OunceUsing on my 13-month old, and he seems to enjoy the colors of the packaging and the smell. What's not to like?

This is the best foaming soap out there. We've tried a few and either the foaming action is spotty or the pump doesn't operate smoothly. I also enjoy that they now have "WASH YOUR HANDS" in bold letters across the face to remind the kids.

Stains towels if doesnt get rinsed off well. Makes a HUGE mess. Like the melon scent but not worth it!

A great potty training aid! We have called this "green slimy" and it is so much fun for washing hands. It smells wonderful. It is a little difficult for my early 2 year old to pump by himself (you have to push down firmly). I sometimes sneak it for my own hand washing because it smells so good!

I don't have kids but this is my favorite handsoap ever. Love the smell, both flavors, and it foams up exactly right. Used to buy it in my neighborhood all the time, but then we moved. Now that I've found it on Amazon I'll never be without it again (until Pampers decides to discontinue it that is.)

Fisher-Price Luv You Zoo 3-in-1 Playard

Fisher-Price Luv You Zoo 3-in-1 PlayardI absolutely LOVE this pack and play. The little cushion that goes inside is very thick (I have seen some that were so thin!). The changing table is handy and I like the bassinet part for my 2 month old. And, I like that it all goes in the bag. It makes it easy to move around! I havne't used the mobile at all and it didn't fit in the bag very well, that would be my only complaint, but it wasn't a big deal to me.

Pampers Easy-Ups Training Pants Jumbo Pack Size 3T-4T (Size 5) B 23ct.

Pampers Easy-Ups Training Pants Jumbo Pack Size 3T-4T B 23ct.I have been deciding between these and Pull-ups. I love the fact that these are so soft and comfortable but I did notice more leaks with these. My son also prefers the Cars picture on the pull-ups rather than Diego.
