Pampers Cruisers Diapers

Pampers Cruisers, Size 3, 38-CountMy son is currently 14 months old. When he was a newborn, we used pampers swaddlers and when he was ready for the size threes, we decided to use pampers cruisers since they had the same absorb away liner in them that we loved. When I recently received another box of cruisers in the mail, I was disappointed to discover that the liner was missing. After calling the company, I found out that unfortunately, pampers has chosen to get rid of the absorb away liner in their cruisers and put out a new line of "Pampers Cruisers Premium Absorbency" available at Target. While using the box of the new style of cruisers my son developed the first diaper rash of his life despite frequent changes. These diapers are not as good as they were previously and I really wish that the company would go back to the old style. Needless to say, I am searching for a new diaper.

As a mom of 5 Boys, I offer my experience with disposable diapers.

I imagine myself having to wear diapers all the time and look for the best fit which I feel equals the best comfort. I have found that a great fit PLUS often changes equals no or minimal leaks.

In order to achieve a great fit you need to start with the correct size. I have found that the numbers on the box mean nothing! YOur babies height and frame size really determine which size your baby needs. It is usually a lot of trial and error but I have always purchased the next size well before my babies were actually the weight stated on the packaging.

Sagging, that is, when the crotch hangs down makes for a very uncomfortable diaper. Huggies supremes have the elastic in the back of the diaper which tends to hold the diaper up better, but I have discovered that there is so much padding between the legs that this style simply does not work for boys.

The wide stretchy sides that pampers cruisers have make achieving a perfect fit very easy! Although, sometimes I have to roll the back of the diaper back a bit to get that perfect fit. If pampers had a little bit of elastic in the back, they woudl be perfect! Also, the padding inside is trimmer in the crotch area making it not as bulky.

I also love the new woven liner. It is very soft. I don't know if it serves any other purpose but I feel better putting someithing soft and somewhat airy on my little baby.

I have tried Pampers Baby Dry, Huggies Baby Shaped and Supreme, Luvs, Walmart's Brand, and CVS premium. I am all about saving money where I can but I also want baby to be comfortable.

I have found all disposable diapers to be pretty much the same and no matter what brand you use, they all serve their purpose. With all the different types I have tried, I have never disliked any one enough to not use the entire pack. In fact, if I go to purchase diapers and there is an irrestible sale on another brand, I will purchase them and only buy a small pack of cruisers. I mix them up in our changing area and end up using both types. Sometimes I have three and four varieties mixed in there.

I do have to admit, the Pampers Cruisers are my first choice and always the ones I am reaching for first. I like the way they smell and especially the way they fit, even more now that Luca is up and Cruising around. They are the only ones I have found to not sag and shift with our toddler's many busy antics and movements.

Hope this helps!

Cruisers were great. No complaints. Now suddenly, the mesh liner is gone, and when my son urinates, it smells like a CHEMICAL PLANT. I'm not kidding. These are the worst, cheapest things ever. And they didn't even change the packaging. I am so angry -clearly they just wanted to save a buck, but the smell of these things? VILE. I have compared the old and "new" side by side -old: nice smell, thicker, mesh lining. New: no lining, smells like chemicals, thinner. I will make it my business to write bad reviews about these diapers, because it's so typical that they think they can change something without telling the consumer, and we're supposed to pay the same amount for worse quality. Way to cut corners, Pampers. I hope you lose half your business because of the bad reviews the new Cruisers are getting. That's what happens when you try and sneak something past the customers. And PampersPattie, the Pampers rep who trolls on these sites and "responds" -there's nothing you can say that changes the truth -these diapers SUCK. And you know it.

I had my son in Huggies for the first year or so, then switched to Pampers cruisers and am very happy with the change. The papmers are lighter weight than the Huggies and I have had less leaks with the Pampers. As for sizing, I've found that all these diapers vary even though they say they are all the same size. For example, a size 4 diapers goes from smaller to larger with the following progression: Huggies Supreme->Huggies->Pampers cruisers. So if you are finding your Huggies size 4 getting small, try Pampers cruisers size 4 before moving on to a size 5.

We have a very (very) handicapped son and were barely able to squeeze him into size 6. We hesitated to move up to "depends" because of the cost. The new size 7 is a lifesaver for us!

I saw the other reviews, but we've had no problems with leaks or with the tabs.

From some of the reviews, sounds like these might not be a great fit for large toddlers, but for a 55 pound six-year-old, they're perfect!

Thank you, Pampers!

Pampers Swaddlers New Baby 20 Count Diapers

Pampers Swaddlers New Baby 20 Count DiapersThe image indicates that these are the "hospital grade" swaddlers, i.e. newborn size without dry-fit chemicals. What showed up at my door were the regular pampers swaddlers. It turns out (I later learned from other reviews) that Pampers no longer distributes the hospital grade swaddlers for non-hospital sale. That's fine, but then sellers need to update their images and stop deceiving customers. I ended up returning these and buying sensitive swaddlers from a different website.

These were the diapers I receieved in the hospital when my son was born. They seemed to fit him well and I liked the yellow dry/wet blue line on the front but they did not absorb urine very well if he went more than once between changes and the #2's always seemed to dribble out of the sides of the diaper. I got very frustrated as did my baby having to change his clothing with every diaper change. If the diaper did this with a newborn I'd hate to see the results on an older baby.

After only 2 days of use I went cloth when I got home and got much better results.

I received these and the package said that they are hospital-grade. Not sure if that is better or worse than the ones you can buy at the store. I gave them away as part of a baby shower gift so I don't have experience with them.

Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo

Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo JumperooOriginal review on 1/4/13

I bought this jumperoo about a month ago. We've been living with my in-laws for the past month (and will be here every summer for about 5 weeks) and I thought our son would appreciate having his favorite toy with him. We have the rainforest jumperoo at home and bought it when our son was about 3 months old. Here are the differences and here is what I like and don't like about this one:

Height:

The Luv-u-zoo is for a taller baby. Our son's feet reached the floor for a couple weeks before we left home in the rainforest jumperoo. Here we just took out the books used to make him tall enough to jump. In addition, the bigger problem is that the seat's lip is taller in this one and wider, so it is much harder for him to reach toys.

Front toys:

On the rainforest jumperoo, there is a green bar with three animals hanging or attached to itan elephant facing the wrong way, a red bird, and monkey. He enjoyed playing with the bird and the monkey a lot. The bird swung with his bounces, so it kept him especially occupied. On the Luv-U one, there is a hippo rattle that he can spin around. But it isn't nearly as interesting or interactive for him as the bird and the monkey. Our son does like to twirl the red bird and the discs on the giraffe bar of the Luv-U, but watching them is uninteresting for him. Lastly, instead of the hippo rattle, the rainforest has a smaller colorful rattle that our son played with much more than he plays with the hippo! Partly it might be the colors, but mostly I think it is because he could reach it better. They both have lights that react to the music/soundsrainforest has 3 and luv-u has 2.

Back left toys:

Our son loves the teether on the Luv-U. The string makes it hard for him to grab on his own yet (4.5 months), so I have to give it to him and/or hold it in his mouth. The Rainforest has an insect(?) on a plastic cord that is much easier for our baby to grab and hold onto. On the Luv-U, behind the teether is another rattle. Rainforest's rattle is very similar.

Back right toys:

They both have color wheels that babies can spin. The Luv-U also has a toy where you can push beads back and forth, and a little mirror. I bet our son will love pushing them when he gets older. The mirror interests him, but he can't see himself in it as it is practically facing the ceiling. The Rainforest has a pop up tiger whose mechanism probably is too advanced for our baby and it has a rainbow bar that he loves to look at with a sun rattle.

Seat:

The Luv-U is easier to get him into and out of and is more roomy. The rainforest swivels much much easierhe was already moving around at 3.5 months. The Luv-U barely moves at all with him kicking off and jumping. I prefer the Rainforest seat since he can move himself to different toys if they catch his interest.

Music:

I love the Rainforest's music. The Luv-U is also nice, but the rainforest has my favorite music of any baby toy I've heard! The Luv-U is more sensitive to the baby's movements and makes sounds for every movement he makes. Some people might love this, I get sick of the boinging, the fake baby laughter, etc. I have grown to like the music for the Luv-U, but I miss the Caribbean sounds of the Rainforest!

So why the high rating? It isn't nearly as good as the Rainforest Jumperoo IMO, but it is still a great activity toy for babies! If you don't have a choice, get this. If you do, get the Rainforest Jumperoo!

EDIT on 7/10/13

I have another son who is now 10 months old. We had the same reactions with him to both jumperoos. He enjoyed more of the toys on the Rainforest Jumperoo and we found the toys on the Luv U one to be a bit far away when our sons were younger. Our little one is and has always been in the 97% for height and I appreciated that we could use the Rainforest earlier with him. With the Luv U we ended up having to use books under his feet for quite a few months. Now that he is taller, his feet are flat on the ground on the highest setting of the rainforest, but at this age we rarely (never) use the Jumperoo anyway since he would rather explore on his own.

I stand by my earlier review that both are great, the Rainforest was better for us.

I spent HOURS reading reviews for so many other jumperoos and with all the negative comments I heard about so many others, I was really hesitant to buy one at all. But the Fisher Price ones seemed to have the least amount of problems and when they did, Fisher Price seemed keen to fix them. So I knew I wanted a Fisher Price. And since this is their newest model, I figured many of the problems with the other jumperoos would have been fixed. As far as I can tell, they were for the most part.

1. the toys are not overwhelming. they are simplistic and keep my daughter entertained endlessly.

2. The music is not overly annoying and when set on the low sound level, can't really even be heard once away from the music.

3. I love the bouncy music feature that makes noises and giggles, etc. when she bounces. She hasn't really caught on yet, but it keeps her entertained.

4. The red bird came with some paint scrapes on her face but I tried to scratch at them with my finger nail and nothing came off, so I wasn't worried about paint chips like some of the other jumpers had.

5. The colors are great, but not overwhelming. They are perfect for her and keep her attention.

6. The springs are fabric covered and so far have held up through LOTS of enthusiastic jumping.

7. The base seems really stable. When she bounces the arms barely move and the base not at all.

8. My only complaint the leaves from which the rhino and monkey hang are supposed to SNAP in but I couldn't get them to and she is able, when she pulls hard enough, to pull the leaves actually out of the arms and get to the toys that way. I wish they had a better locking mechanism so they couldn't do this.

9. One other complaint the hanging rhino and monkey catch her interest and she tries to pull at them but can't really hold on to them. I almost wish they were on a stretchier cord so she could get to them when she wants to.

10. Ironically, her favorite toy is the plain teether. She spends more time with that than any other. It is nice that it has a teether on it so she can have one toy that is sort of relaxing and doesn't make noise etc. if she ever just needs a break.

11. There is a small tray for snacks some of the other reviews thought this was pointless and took up too much room, enough room for another toy instead. But this tray is very small and doesn't keep any other toys from being attached. I am glad there are no other toys on this tray because then I think it would be overwhelming.

All in all, I love this jumper. We haven't had any problems after one month. Certainly no issues like so many of the other jumpers have. She stays endlessly entertained and would stay in her jumper all day if I were to let her. If any of the Fisher Price issues come up I will update my review, but for the tme being, we love it and have had no problems!

My daughter is 4m old and stands 24.75 inches tall. Just so parents know she cannot touch the ground even on the jumperoo's lowest level (they don't list a minimum height on the box anywhere, but I just put a pillow under her feet). Also so you get a perspective of size, my daughter weighs 13.5 lbs. and there is a sufficient amount of extra space in the seat for her to grow into. she does love being bounced in it and loves the rattle toy. She is still taking in the other toys as they are slightly advanced for a baby her age. I bought this toy because she likes to be upright or sitting most of the time and I put her in it while I fold laundry or do dishes (be sure you keep your baby in eye sight). She will look at all the stuff and occupy herself for about 15 minutes. The toys and activities are cute and capture her attention and I find the jumperoo to be sturdy.

*Update: My daughter is now 6 months old and can touch the floor in the jumperoo (on the lowest level), still has plenty of room to grow in the seat and loves playing with the other toys. She has figured out how they all work now. I love that she was able to grow and develop with this toy. She will play for 15-20 minutes at a time.

My 6 month old daughter LOVES this thing. I have to take her out of it when she tires herself out. It was super easy to put together no tools required (except to open battery door), it entertains her forever, she laughs and babbles non stop, wants more bouncing after she's out, it's great I can get the dishes done, bottles made, ready in the morning, etc and she's happy the whole time. She had outgown her bouncy chair (not size wise but boredom) so I was worried that this wouldn't last long but after seeing her in it I'm not concerned, it seems entertaining enough for an older baby too. It's height adjustable and I can tell by her position in the seat now that there's plenty of room to grow. The colors are nice, not too bright or busy. The music isn't annoying. The toys are simple enough that she can enjoy them without becoming overwhelmed. It's stable, doesn't shift around on my wood floors. I like this style better than those with a solid base, I think it teaches balance better.

The only downsides I can think of: the monkey and rhino that hang from the leaves are just out of her grasp but she's very interested in them and wants to grab them. It'd be nice if they were on a stretchy cord or something, but as it is it's just something for her to look forward to getting her hands on in a few months. Also the 360 motion is probably not something she can do yet. When I turn her it takes me a little bit of muscle, the fabric of the chair cover makes the spinning not as easy as if it were plastic on plastic. She can move it a little bit so I think once she has a better plant on the floor (right now her toes just touch) it'll be fine.

OverallI love this jumper, she loves it, it was well worth the price (less than others) and I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this today from Babies R Us as a last minute purchase. I originally wanted a different jumperoo (Fisher Price) but they were out so I grabbed this one as it is similar to the one I wanted. I put my 3 1/2 month old in it as soon as I got home and assembled it and he FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! He is a tall baby (26 in) so there in about 2 in between him and the floor still but I put a thin pillow under his feet and he bounces and all that. The music is NOT annoying at all, and there is an option to make it so it only plays music and other noises when the baby bounces in it or continuous music. He LOVES looking at the dangling toys and while he is just starting to like toys, he LOVES the colors. It is so not overwhelming for a baby and it is SO easy to assemble. You only need a screw driver for the batteries, otherwise just snap everything into place and you are done. Being so easy to assemble, it is also easy to disassemble for easy storage. I really recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great thing for your baby. Now I can actually get things done and he is distracted for about an hour before he gets ready to nap.

timi & leslie Dual Bag

timi & leslie Dual Bag, MackenzieI really wanted to love this bag. The fabric is great. Not too stiff and not like the cheap plastic-like material some diaper bags are made out of. The size seemed great at first. (When I showed my husband, he thought it was a laptop bag btw.) I was planning on using one side of the bag for my infant sons things and the other side for my things. I filled the front half with baby items (four diapers, travel wipes, change of clothes, burp cloth, and a small toy) and it was full but I was able to zip it closed. Then I attempted to put my wallet, small makeup bag, and check book into the back half of the bag. I could not fit them! The first side of the bag was full (and did not even have that much in it) and was pushing into the side that was not full taking up the space. It seemed like the middle part separating the two sides took up a lot of space and the two "large" pockets weren't really that large. Also, the interior lining is black and it was impossible to find things in the bag with out taking everything out. I found myself scooping with my hands to find smaller items in the bottom of the bag. I returned this bag. I am much happier with the Bumble Collection Ashley bag.

I love the design on the bag; it's what first caught my eye. I read the reviews, and overall it had a good rating. It was a little small inside, for I tend to overpack, but I didn't mind. What did have me disappointed was that within 4 months, the lining of one of the zippered compartments had completely ripped, leaving me w/ an extra "pocket" and strings that would catch on the zipper. For something that is so expensive at full retail, I thought the quality would have been much better.

Pampers Airwave Venting System, Stage 1, 5 Ounces, Clear, Triple Pack

Pampers Airwave Venting System, Stage 1, 5 Ounces, Clear, Triple PackI spent ALOT of money on these!! BIG WASTE!! Not only do they cause alot of gas but it doesn't help colic at all. When my daughter was drinking, the nipple would collapse back inside the nipple holder causing her formula to spill all over her face. I do not recommend. Plus the nipple is so big for a babys tiny mouth that formula just spews out the sides of her mouth causing yet another big mess! Don't waste your time. Save your money.

Doesn't help colic at all and nipples collapse when baby sucks on them... I have to constantly take it out of my childs mouth and let the air back into the bottle. You can find these on sale at various times and I have a bunch of $1.00 coupons from my childs pediatrician.. so I pay about 2-3$ for one of these. Wouldn't recommend.

Owl Contact Lens Case

Owl Contact Lens Case BlueI love my new contact case! It doesn't say in the inside of the case there's a left and a right label that I really like. It's cute in the morning and makes putting that piece of lense in your eye a little more cheerful!

The only cons are that the shipping was more expensive than the actual product! And the smooth edges on the case make it hard to open if your fingers are wet.

I would suggest these to a friend if they are looking for a quality case!

Pampers Sensitive ThickCare Wipes

Pampers Sensitive ThickCare 3X Wipes 180 Counti flipped flopped between the regular pampers sensitive wipes and the huggies natural care for a while--i liked the pampers sensitive because it was softer and feels more moisturizing but the huggies is thicker and cleans better, especially with messy poopies. i've also been looking for safer alternatives to baby wipes and tried a bunch of the green brands (seventh generation, earths best, babyganic, etc.) but hated all of them. i tried the pampers sensitive thick care wipes just because i had a coupon and discovered that i LOVE them! they have the moisturizing softness of pampers but the wipe is nice and thick like the huggies.

i also looked up all the different wipes i tried in the EWG's skindeep database, generating my own reports based on the ingredients list for products not found in the database, and found that the pampers sensitive thick care rates the LOWEST of any of the wipes i've tried. pampers sensitive thick care was rated a 2 out of 10 (the lower the number, the less harmful the product), while the regular pampers sensitive wipes got a 3 and huggies natural care got a 4.

i'm a proactive, slightly paranoid, and very particular first time mom. i've tried a LOT of different baby product--diapers, wipes, body washes, lotions... you name it, i've tried them all, looking for products that work well and are safe for my baby--and i absolutely love these wipes. they're soft, they work and they're safe for my baby.

These are my favorite wipes now. They're slippery and soft like the original Pampers Sensitive Baby 3x Wipes Refills, 192 Count Packages (Pack of 4) but thicker. They're not so thick it's rough (like Huggies Naturally Refreshing Baby Wipes, Refill, 184-Count Pack (Pack of 3), which I don't like at all (although they smell good).

Also, these pop out of my wipes warmer Munchkin Warm Glow Wipe Warmerone by one, one-handed! The orginal is a pain because they come out in one long grouping.

I also use the Kirkland Premium Baby Wipes 900 CountCostco brand and like those but these are much better in my opinion. If the price is about the same, I would go with these.

I've never been a fan of Pampers wipes because I always thought they were too thin. So I was excited to try out the thick wipes. I used them on my 2.5 year old and my breastfed 4 month old. I felt like the thickness was just about right. I like the scent (very mild and pleasant) and the packaging. My only complaint was that they seem too "soapy" or maybe they need more texture. I felt like they slid around a lot instead of "gripping" the stuff that I wanted to wipe off. Along with that I didn't feel like they were quite absorbent enough. I liked them okay on my 2.5 year old, but did not like them with my 4 month old. After giving them a try, I plan to stick with the other brand I use for wipes even though I love Pampers diapers.

Stock up on this wipe now while you can. Pampers isn't making thick wipes anymore and their other wipes leave a lot to be desired in comparison. The sensitive ones are thin and dry. Takes twice as many for messy diapers.

Blue Q Tin Bank

Blue Q - I'm Savin' Up For More Valium! Tin BankI bought this for my teenage son as a stocking stuffer last Christmas. He doesn't really use it so it sits on his bookcase. I think it's hilarious, I don't condone him buying weed, or using it, but we share the same sense of humor so I had to get this for him.

I heard him telling his online gaming nerd friends about it so I know he liked it a lot. He only shares the most important details of his life with them after all.

I think he's got a quarter in it, so I don't think the weed he buys with it will be very good.

I got three of these as Christmas presents for my two cousins "I'm saving up for a dream wedding" and "I'm saving up for Jesus" for my girl cousin, and "I'm saving up for a new tattoo" for my boy cousin as jokes and a way to teach them how to save up their coins. I have one myself "I'm saving up for plastic surgery" as a personal joke and drop four quarters in it twice a week.

100% Pure 100% Pure Hydrating Body Wash 17 oz - Strawberry

100% Pure 100% Pure Hydrating Body Wash 17 oz - StrawberryI wanted to switch from a chemical-laden body wash to a more natural product. After a few days of use my skin became irritated, and I'm positive it's because of this product. I have not made changes to my after-shower lotion, detergent, or perfumes. I switched back to a regular body wash a few days ago and my skin is slowly getting back to normal. Also like the previous poster said, the fragrance is off. It smells more like red Kool-Aid than strawberries, that's the best I can describe it.

Bought this because I usually love the smell of strawberries and was hoping this would smell like real strawberries. In addition, I was intrigued by it having organic products in it, and also because it didn't have some of the things in it that are not healthy. My disappointment is in the fragrance...just doesn't have that good strawberry smell in my opinion.

Nuby Nursery Rhyme Singing Plush Toy

Nuby Nursery Rhyme Singing Plush ToyWe ordered this toy for my 18-month old son as one of his Christmas presents. Since you can't choose which animal you'll receive, it was kind of like Christmas for us, too, since it was a surprise which animal we'd get. We received the little monkey with the baseball cap, and it plays "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" OK, not a nursery rhyme, per se, but still a cute song and perfect for our little boy. The monkey is soooo soft, and just the right size for a little kid. You squish on the monkey's tummy to play the song, so we had to show him how to do it for the first several times, and eventually he figured out how to do it himself. He loves it, and sings along with it and says "Hurray!" at the end, which is part of the song. It's really cute and I'm going to order another one just hope I don't get the monkey again, since we already have it!

Huggies Little Snugglers Newborn, Size N, 84-Count

Huggies Little Snugglers Newborn, Size N, 84-CountWorst diaper brand ever. These leak constantly, the velcro doesn't stick, and theres always a huge gap between the diaper and my 8lb baby. My husband refuses to use them anymore. Pampers swaddlers are definitely the better choice. The Luvs also work really well.

I've tried Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Parent's Choice, White Cloud diapers, and Huggies Little Snugglers wins hands down. They prevent leaks, they're snug but don't chafe my baby like others did, and they're thick enough to do the job! All the generic brands were horribly thin and didn't rise high enough up the back. A couple left red marks on her legs. Pampers were good but Little Snugglers are better fitted.

I've had fantastic luck with these diapers. The fit is great on my daughter, who is still under 8 pounds. I'm definitely planning to try the next size.

These are horrible. My baby boy was 8 lbs 7 oz when he was born. When we brought him home and started using these they leaked constantly! The velcro wouldn't stick well at all and they seemed a little to big on my baby. We got rid of all of the huggies little snugglers and switched to pampers swaddlers! I highly recommend pampers swaddlers to every new mother.

The velcro straps don't stick very well at all; in fact, if my daughter moves at all the straps come undone! It's 5:00 AM, and I just changed her diaper AND outfit for the third time tonight. We might as well have no diaper on her because the useless velcro straps came loose every time. Terrible, terrible product! I wonder if the company tested these at all. These are so bad it's criminal. Absolute garbage. We only used these because we ran out of the competing brand from the hospital.

I'll never buy Huggies again.

Babymel Amanda Quilted BM329 Hobo

Babymel Amanda Quilted BM328 Hobo,Nude,One SizeI am pretty picky when it comes to diaper bags. I want something that looks like a purse and that I can sling over my chest like a messenger bag. I also want lots of pockets and I want a zipper for the main compartment. This bag met my demands. It's well made and holds a ton. Often when people find out it's a diaper bag they are surprised.

I love this bag. I'm a bag person and spent a lot of time researching diaper bags. This one was selected and I received it from my hubby on Mother's Day!

It doesn't look like a diaper bag but has all the pocket's you'll need and comes with a compact changing pad. It has a hidden insulated bottle pocket on the side and patented stroller straps for hanging on your stroller (just make sure it's not too heavy or your stroller will topple over). This bag is made by the makers of Storksak which is a higher end baby diaper bag company. It is high quality and comes in a few beautiful colors.

For the birth of my son my wife stated she wanted a new diaper bag. She picked out this bag specifically and left it where she knew I would see it. It arrived fast and in time for our sons early arrival. The bag is spacious, colorful and crafted very well. I also bought her a Coach bag for Christmas and she has yet to use it for anything. It's a wonderfully made product. Highly recommended.

Huggies Little Movers Diapers

Huggies Little Movers Diapers Economy Plus, Size 4, 160 CountI always read bad reviews to see if there is something informational there, but bad reviews for Huggies are just as strange as it could get. Diaper is designed to simplify parents life in comparison to regular cloth ones from 20-30 years ago. But reading bad reviews I could not stop wondering why people are expecting these diapers to absorb unlimited quantity of pee? When you see "crumbs" this is actually a sign that you NEEDED to change this diaper ages ago. These are good diapers, but they need to be changed frequently like all other diapers. The older your kid the more often you need to change him (s)he pees you know like a big boy or a big girl. These diapers are pretty absorbent, but it does not mean that you need to let your kid explore its capacity every time. In order to allow your kid to go through potty training successfully you still need to change him fairly often to give him a "clean" feeling. On another note accidents still might happen, this is why they are called accidents, and they will happen in any diapers, because kids are moving objects mine 2-year old does not stop period even for food. Even my boy being so active I can assure that we did not have an accident for very long. Couple leak accidents we had in the beginning when diaper was not put properly due to kid not laying down still even for a second. I have a boy, so I can say these diapers are perfect for very active boys. Instructions are very simple put diaper on, check how you did it, giggle with your kid when pushing his legs towards his tummy to allow better fit done.

When I ordered this, I thought I would be getting the same stuff I buy from Target or the base commissary. NOPE I was wrong. First, the box has a date of 2009 on it, then when I opened it up, the diapers are significant thinner than the normal huggies little movers I was buying. My son wet through these diapers all the time now, after naps, short car rides, even playing in the house he will wet through them. Before this crappy box, didn't have any of those problems. Any money I did save from buying them through amazon is gone because of all the extra washing of clothes I have done using these horrible diapers. DONT BUY ONLINE or you will get the older leakier previous version of the huggies little movers.

I have been ordering these diapers for several months now and I am so upset that they have changed. They used to be pretty gentle and very sturdy, but now they have changed the make-up of the diaper and added dyes it's like the Huggies Snug n Fit nowwhich are rough and have always given my daughter a diaper rash. So sad.

I honestly don't see the need to buy the more expensive "Little Movers". While they are softer than the Snug and Dry, they dont seem to hold as much. I worked in an infant room for 2 years and I swear by the "Snug and Dry" style of Huggies. Out of all the brands of diapers, those hands down have proved to do the best.

When my wife and I had our first child, we started out using Pampers diapers, because that's what we had used in the hospital. While those diapers were adequate, we didn't really like the way that they forced our daughter to waddle with her knees turned out once she started learning to walk. I saw some Huggies Supremes advertising a more shaped fit in their toddler sizes, and decided to try a package.

What a difference it made! Not only did she walk more easily, but the diapers also had a significantly higher capacity, meaning that a single diaper would usually last through the night without overflowing. In addition, the fit was better to the point that poop explosions became a thing of the past. It was really nice not having to change soiled clothing along with the diapers.

Other parents we know report similar experiences. When our second child came along, there was no question he started using Huggies Supremes right from the start.

Modern diapers have come a long way from the old cloth diapers, so here are a few tips for new parents on using them.

The absorbent material in modern diapers is so effective that the diaper won't feel wet, and won't release any urine odor. The way to tell that the diaper needs to be changed is to squeeze slightly at the front of the crotch on boys, a little higher, just above the private parts. If it feels like it did when the diaper was put on, it's still dry. If it feels more full and squishy, like a gel, it's wet. Poop you'll still have to tell by smell and the child's behavior.

When putting these diapers on, stretch the elastic across the baby's back slightly, and make sure the front is also snug when velcroing the tabs shut. This will help minimize the chance of leaks at the waist or leg holes.

A couple tricks for diapering in general: when changing a diaper, I spread the clean diaper out under the child first, before removing the dirty diaper. After undoing the tabs, I grab both ankles in my left hand, lift a couple of inches, remove the dirty diaper, and clean the baby from the back forward before lowering the baby's behind onto the clean diaper. For a boy, put a wipe over the front while doing the change to avoid fountains.

Each box contains two or four clear plastic bags with half or a quarter of the diapers in each bag. The bags have perforations and act as fairly convenient dispensers after removal from the box.

Since the sizing data is currently missing from the product description, here it is:

Size 1: up to 14 pounds

Size 2: 12-18 pounds

Size 3: 16-28 pounds

Size 4: 22-37 pounds

Size 5: over 27 pounds

Size 6: over 35 pounds

Huggies Supremes do cost a bit more than most other brands, but you will probably also use fewer diapers because of their larger capacity. Add to that the reduced chances of soiling baby's clothes, and they are well worth it!

incredibum One Size Bamboo Cloth Diaper

incredibum One Size Bamboo Cloth DiaperI bought this product because I read a review on it and was amazed how trim and easy to use the diaper was. The color I bought was Firecracker and it was a bold red (like fire engine red). The diaper fit perfectly on my 6 month old AND my 2 year old. At first the snaps kinda scared me but the first use it I realized they ARE needed. No wing droop. What I loved the most is it is a All in Two diaper and the insert is made of Bamboo. Probably one of the best diapers out there on the market it. Can't wait to buy more!

The diaper is great for all sizes of babies, never had any leaks in the few months I've used it, but I'm not in love with the snap inserts. They aren't very soft and all over felt rather cheap and rough on my babies skin. I also don't feel as though it wicked away enough moisture from my babies skin. But for an inexpensive cloth diaper, it isn't a bad investment, just not in my top 3 for favorites!

We recently started cloth diapering our first baby. I bought only incredibums and started using them when he was about 3 weeks old and about 10 pounds. I had a lot of trouble at first with the diapers repelling but that was due to my wash routine. Being new to this, apparently I was using too much detergent (Rockin Green) even though I was using less than recommended and the diapers developed a build up right away. I was very frustrated with the constant leaks and was about to give up but stripped them really well and now they are working great and I love them. I learned that less is definitely more when it comes to detergent. We've gone three hours between changes a few times with no leaks. I have not tried them at night yet but I think they will hold up well with both inserts. They really are quite trim-more so than I expected them to be. They are not much bulkier than a wet disposable and they are so cute. I did have one small issue in that two of our covers were missing one of the hip snaps but incredibum and the seller have worked to make up for that by offering to send us new covers. Excellent customer service. They also recently added a black diaper to their line-up so I'm excited to get one or two of those! (Also, on one cover, the snaps are a little harder to get a good tight connection and clicking sound but I'm still able to get it snapped and it does stay snapped fairly well with a little extra work). I use the incredibum cloth wipes as well which are wonderfully soft and large. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars and a happy new cloth diapering mom.

UPDATE: I took off a star (and almost took off two...) as we have been using these diapers for about three or four months now and we are having some issues with them. Some of the snaps are already deteriorating. We have three diapers in the "sunshine" color and for some reason on all three of those the snaps for the rise won't stay connected to keep it snapped down to a small or medium setting. On one of our "ocean" diapers, the snaps at the waist to hold the diaper on the baby won't stay connected anymore either, rendering it useless. In addition, a few of the covers are starting to get a little pilly and we are having more and more leaks, even with both inserts snapped in (I think it has to do with the fit more than the absorbancy level). Almost every day my son comes home from daycare in a different outfit than I sent him in due to leaks. Initially I was so excited about these diapers and by the price, especially considering the fact that I got them all during different sales, but now I am wishing I had tried other pricier brands that have been around longer before buying so many incredibum diapers. I was hoping to be able to use these diapers with a second baby someday, but I doubt they will last long enough for that given the way things are going. I do have to say that when I had the issue before with snaps missing on two covers, they sent new ones and when those got lost in the mail, they sent them again, and also sent a free roll of liners, so the customer service was good on that issue. (I have not contacted incredibum regarding the bad snaps, partly because I feel like I've already been a nag regarding the missing snap issue.) I really wish I could say that I still love these diapers...

We use incredibums and fuzzi bunz. I love this diaper! I like that the bamboo insert snaps in, and during naptime we snap in the second insert as well. No leaks, no rash. Easy to wash. Fits my 15 month old perfectly.

I bought this diaper and have to say this is one of my favorite diapers in my stash (totally knocks all the MAJOR brands out of the ballpark). It's very trim and fits my 16 month old so well and has tons of room to grow. The colors are vibrant and though at first when I saw the snaps I got nervous but it was super easy to use and understand why there were so many (cross over on BOTH sides!). We've used this diaper for day time and night time and never had an issue. I can't wait to buy more!!!

Pampers Easy Ups Trainers for Boys, Size 5, 66 Count

Pampers Easy Ups Trainers for Boys, Size 5, 66 CountI had been buying these but my most recent boxes of both boy and girl aprpoximately 25% of the Easy Ups have been tearing at the sides, even while being put on. My kids are still well within the weight limits, so that isn't the problem. I think Pampers has some Q/C issues they need to address. I have switched to Pull-Ups since they have the velcro sides, so even if they "tear" you can at least still use them, whereas the Easy-Ups are just trash, once they rip.

These ones are the best for my son.I've been buying since 2 years ago and they work super fine.Do not change for any other brand.I recommend them to any mother who got a potty training kid.

Pampers Baby Dry Diapers Sesame Street

Pampers Baby Dry Diapers Sesame Street, Size 1, 56-CountOkay, the title says it all these diapers just don't leak for larger babies. I love them and use them exclusively for our child at night (he's trained during the day) and have no problems whatsoever. They're a snap to put on and just are wonderful to use. I can't recommend these enough I've tried so many brands and these definitely work the best. I have broken too many fingernails changing crib sheets from the results of cheap leaky diapers and so therefore, I highly recommend these diapers, and so do my nails!

Lambs and Ivy Luv Bugs Slip Cover Chair, Plum

Lambs and Ivy Luv Bugs Slip Cover Chair, PlumI bought this for my daughters first birthday, it matches her room decor. She immediately climbed up and laid back to relax in the chair. It's soft but not flimsy. Like a mini armchair I would sit in, if I could! So glad I bought it! It's the perfect size for her too.

Munchkin Arm & Hammer 72 Count Diaper Bag Refills

Munchkin Arm & Hammer 72 Count Diaper Bag RefillsThese smell nice and are decently priced for what they are but the bags are huge! They should be half the size! It is such a waste to put one little diaper in these to throw away! Arm and Hammer should be less wasteful with the size of these and give consumers two bags for the same plastic used in one!

Should have unscented bags without the endocrine disrupters then I'd give them 5 star. Its just a conveniently rolled bag so once you tie the bag closed with dirty diaper inside smell wouldnt be an issue anyway

The bags have a nice smell after putting the dirty diaper in the bag I put it in the Arm & Hammer diaper pail so the baby's room does not smell of dirty diapers.
