Devil Duck

Yin Yang Devil DuckieI love devil duckies. I have recently started collecting them because they come in so many unique colors and styles. My most beloved devil duckie has to be the tattoed/pierced devil duckie. It is a light tan duckie with a pierced horn and is covered in tattoos. This devil duckie is definitely the coolest with its pierced horn and tattoos. I love the web tattoo on the duckie's behind. On its right cheek is a little devil duckie tattoo with the number 13. Too cute. I think it truly embodies the rebellious spirit of the devil duckie brand. I may be an adult but I am also a kid at heart. Devil duckies aren't your average rubber duckies we all grew up with as kids. I don't think you need to be a kid to collect devil duckies.

Nice idea and well made and painted. However, they not well balanced so they are front heavy when floating. Takes some squirting to remove all the water inside of them.

Look great on the side of the tub!

What can I say? I am an oddball. I love rubber duckies. The more unusual, the better. My current favorite rubber duckie is the Yin Yang Devil Duckie. The picture of it is pretty self-explainatory. The black and white emblem on the chest of the rubber duckie is the yin yang symbol. Yin Yang comes from Chinese philosophy. Two seemingly opposite natural forces are entwined together. One can't exist or function without the other. In the case of this adorable rubber duckie, the two forces that are intertwined is good and evil according to the description. It is obvious that there is no educational use for this cute little critter but as a rubber duckie collector, he is a must have. He is too cute. If you love the devil duckie line like I do, Yin Yang Devil Duckie is a must have.

These duckies are currently popular in our elementary school for trading among students. This duckie, however, is about 4X larger than those typically traded. Still, our 3rd grader loves it, and will continue to while the craze lasts.

It's a duckie, it's a devil, no, wait, it's a DEVIL DUCKIE! This duckie has the power to block CIA brainscans from external sources (has no effect on the implanted chip though ;( )

Diaper Diva Zipper Diva Bag

Diaper Diva Brown with Pink ZippersThis is a great bag and it's size is deceptive (in a good way). I had a couple other diaper bags and I finally found the right one. One was way too large... I ended up donating that one to my mom so she'd have a diaper bag for when she's babysitting. Another was just a big abyss with no pockets at all.

This one is perfect. I put three nine-ounce bottles, a three serving formula dispenser, baby food and a spoon, two burp cloths and two bibs, a few small toys, the included changing pad and my wallet in the main compartment. I put five size four diapers and a small tube of rash cream in one of the front pockets, a wipes case in the center front pocket (it's the widest) and more of my stuff in the other front pocket (cell phone, chapstick, hair ties, etc). I keep an extra outfit and, now that it's cooling off, a receiving blanket for my son in the back pocket (there are two pockets in the back of the bag, on the outside).

The cell phone holder is essentially useless you have a small flip phone or bar phone... and even that might be cutting it. But, it's easy to remove since it's just held on with velcro.

There is a bottle pocket, but I haven't used it yet.

I really like the attached stroller clips. The too-large diaper bag that I had came with clips, but they weren't attached to the bag (you had to either leave them on the stroller and hope they didn't get lost or keep them in the bag) and they were thin rubber (which ripped through after three uses). I really like how these are attached to the bag... nothing to lose or store.

The fabric of the bag is really heavy canvas and the zippers are heavy duty. They're not the cutesy (and flimsy) zippers that most bags have.

I think my favorite part is the messenger style of the bag. I hate going into public bathrooms, only to find that there is nowhere to put the diaper bag. The hooks on the changing stations all seem to be long gone and only a few select stores/restaurants have thought to install a shelf or a hook on the wall. So you end up having to put your diaper bag on the floor. Ew. This bag can stay attached to the parent while you're changing diapers.

So, to sum it all up. Great bag, lots of space. I can't imagine needing to take anything else for one child. I think I over-pack and there is still have plenty of space. The only negative I can come up with is the tiny cell phone holder and that's not enough for me to drop a star.

THIS BAG WE BOUGHT WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN AND IT LASTED ALL THE WAY UNTIL WE NO LONGER NEEDED IT WHICH WAS 2 YEARS LATER. WE WASHED IT AND IT NEVER FADED OR LOST ITS NICE LOOK. THIS BAG WAS MADE TO LAST A LIFETIME AND WE DONATED IT TO ANOTHER MOTHER AND SHE IS STILL USING IT 2 YEARS LATER. THIS BAG IS WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE.

I've had about 3 diaper bags that really didn't meet my needs until I found this one. It has lots of room and pockets. The cell phone holder really won't fit any of the newer phones, but there are plenty of pockets to put them in. The extra pockets really gave it plenty more space and helped to organize way better than other diaper bag I've seen. I love how you can unbuckle the strap. It came in handy many times when my daughter fell asleep on my shoulder and it makes it much easier to balance the weight when carrying my daughter. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a very practical diaper bag.

I had been looking for a messenger bag that was reasonably priced that met my needs and this definitely did that! It's roomy enough to double as mom's purse as well. The extra pockets allow for so much more. It even accommodates my daughters bottles that aren't the usual cylinder bottle. This is the 3rd diaper bag I've bought since my daughter was born in April. I definitely recommend this!

Pampers SPLASHERS Swim Pants, Size 6 (37+lbs 17+kg) 10 Disposable Swim Pants

Pampers SPLASHERS Swim Pants, Size 6 10 Disposable Swim PantsThese are great, but wish I could find a bigger size for special needs kids!! In case the manufacturer is still reading this: there are a lot of kids with autism and other disabilities who love to swim but need larger swim diapers.

I have always liked the Pampers Splashers beetter than Huggies little swimmers. They are a better fit and are easier to take on and off!!

The product listing did not say what character was on the splasher so I guess I thought it would be Elmo like in the picture. Description did not say characters would vary. When we received the package, it was Dora which my son does not like anymore.

Descriptions should be more descriptive on what character will be on the splasher.

Splashers do work well though.

We bought these things for my boyfriends 18month old son, put them on before we headed to the beach and he peed right through them. These do not hold urine so if you're in the

pool the baby's going to piss it up. A total waste, I'm glad we only paid $5 for them thanks to my coupons! Won't be buying them ever again!

Pampers Airwave Venting System, Stage 3, 11 Ounces, Double Pack, Clear

Pampers Airwave Venting System, Stage 3, 11 Ounces, Double Pack, ClearI also love these bottles! My son has used these since birth and never ever had a problem adjusting to the length of the nipples. I've never had a problem with leaking or the nipple coming out of the ring during feeding. I have recommended these bottles to other family members and friends who also love them! Of course all babies are different and like different things, I recommend to buy a single bottle and give it a try, though!

This will be quit a different review from the previous one. I absolutely love these bottles and wish I would have started out with them. I tried these out when my son was 5 months ( we were using Playtex prior). The baby loved these from the beginning. The nipples are very long as the other reviewer stated but my son had no problem adjusting to them. The formula flows out easily and at a great pace. I have never had any leaks with these bottles even after the baby threw it on the floor. I would recommend these bottles to anyone.

I love these bottles. They are short and stout, and easy on the hands, but do not fit in a standard cup holder unless the hole is wide. The only thing I would say is to not shake the bottle or lean it on its side while the cap is on. The cap holds on well to the bottle, but does not really provide a snug enough seal on the nipple hole. If you are used to putting in the water and formula then capping the bottle and shaking it, dont. The formula will leak into the cap cavity. Better off shaking the bottle with your finger on the nipple hole. Otherwise, I love these bottles.

Ok, first of all I have to say that after two children we have tried quite a few different bottles and these are the absolute worst. The nipples are so long that our son gagged on them until he figured out to only suck on the very end. This made for fussy feedings in the middle of the night. Then the nipples themselves come completely out of the bottle while the baby is drinking. Not only is this a problem for the baby but then, the bottle leaks around the nipple ring as well and milk begins to pour out of the side of the bottle during the feeding. Not only are these bottles messy but they are dangerous as the nipple comes out of the bottle completely. We are attempting to find out if they will be recalled, probably not but they should. Save money and headaches do not buy these bottles!

Gerber Teether Twisty BugMy son received this teether as a Christmas gift last year when he was 3 months old. He absolutely loved this toy for months! I highly recommend this teether/toy.

Pampers Thickcare Wipes, Bulk Pack, Touch of Chamomile 360 Ea

Pampers Thickcare Wipes, Bulk Pack, Touch of Chamomile 360 EaThe Pampers Thick Care wipes are exceptional and I refuse to use any others. Each pack is made with a hard plastic cover that makes one wipe dispensing easy. it also eliminates the need for the bulky hard plastic cases...I had several around the house. I attempted to buy other Thick Care wipes but they had the flimsy plastic film, not the hard plastic top, which easily rips after several uses. I am not sure why Pampers chose to do that. I originally had this item subscribed by it was cancelled and the price was raised about a dollar. BabiesRUs sells them online but not by the case. Right now I cannot find a better deal online. Maybe I will have better luck when I move back to the US but until then. I recommend these wipes over original Pampers wipes and Huggies.

Philips Avent BPA Free Soothie Pacifier, 0-3 Months, 2 Pack, Packaging May Vary

Philips 2 Pack AVENT Soothie Pacifier, Pink/Purple, 0-3 MonthsI got one of these at the hospital, and it is the only pacifier my son has ever accepted. Highly recommend you at least try it if you haven't already. It's great, because you can stick your finger in and babies tend to latch onto it better when you do.

And they look like a suckerfish, as you can see by looking down the translucent nub. It's entertaining AND useful.

And I totally don't laugh at my child.

When my little one was discharged from her stay in the NICU, the NICU nurses threw together a bag for us with all kinds of stuff from their shelves. Included was about 30 of these. I think I'm good to go on pacifiers for the rest of her infanthood.

These little guys are great! We got several other brands of pacifiers at our baby shower, and my daughter rejects anything but these. She's not a huge fan of pacifiers in general, and only wants to take one when she is super, super fussy, or crying while she's waiting to eat. The Soothies are big enough and bold enough in color to find in the middle of the night in the crib, too, which is an extra bonus. They're also really easy to keep clean. I throw mine in the dishwasher. You can also stick your pinky finger in the little hole on the nipple part, and that really seems to be something my daughter likes a lot.

With all that said, the best part of all isn't advertised. These pacifiers are translucent, so when you put it in your baby's mouth, you can see the sucking action. It looks a bit like a lamprey, really. It's absolutely absurd and adorable. I never thought I'd find amusement in watching my kid suck on a pacifier, but it's strangely fascinating, and my husband and I both laugh at it every time. She's our little lamprey.

I ordered this pacifier to use while my baby is in her car seat and swing. While she usually falls asleep after a few minutes of driving she doesn't like being in her car seat and gets really upset. The only thing that soothes her is letting her suck on my pinky but this won't work once Daddy goes back to work and I have to drive when we go out. I was reluctant to give her a pacifier since she is exclusively breastfed and I have heard pacifiers can create problems with latching. So far we have had no problems with her latch and she is calmed by this pacifier in the car or swing. Once she gets a good latch on it, which takes about 30 seconds of holding it for her, she is able to keep it in her mouth until she falls asleep. I don't plan to use this long-term. I know every infant is different but we have had success with this pacifier so far. Please keep in mind I only give it to her when she has a full tummy and needs to suck on something to fall asleep in her swing or car seat.

I bought this item in hopes it would work for my 6month old. The newborm Soothies were too flimsy for him now that he has discovered turning the pacifier on it's side to chew on it when he is teething rather than actually suck on it. He absolutely refuses to accept a change in pacifier so I wasn't sure what I was going to do for him. I was scared he would eventually fold the newborn pacifier in half and choke on it when I wasn't looking. Now I dont have a fear of him doing this. The sides of the paci are much more sturdy and work great for a little one who wants to chew on it now and again. It's proven extremely difficult to find this size Soothie however in BLUE because everywehre I look sells it in pink or asks that I let them chose the colors and they dont even know what sex my baby is so I could still end up with a pink pacifier which is just simply annoying. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and the company selling it through Amazon got it shipped out and to my house in less time than the shipping tracker predicted. It said it would be to my home in a little over a week and I had it within 3 days!! I really hope they get more in stock because I will be the first to order a few more to have as spares!!!!

I have a 5 week old and have tried the other pacifiers, but found that my newborn started chewing on my nipples when I breastfed her because the shape of the pacifier and my nipples were not the same.

After reading some reviews, I bought the GumDrop Newborn Pacifiers and the Philips AVENT Soothies at the same and had high hopes for both of them, but when I got them, my newborn rejected the GumDrop pacifiers as the base of the pacifier is a harder plastic than the Soothies.

She absolutely loves the Soothies, and the round base around them mimics breastfeeding more closely than the Gumdrops. I have since purchased more Soothies and have one in almost every room in the house. As a result of these great pacifies, she has since stopped chewing on my breast and has a better latch!
